This is literally the only company I’ve ever come across that asks people to pay a platform fee just to get onboarded for a job. And what exactly is the job? Recording egocentric data using your own phone and a head strap.

I’ve been doing egocentric recording for a long time through the Minute Data app, and not once have they ever asked me to pay a fee. In fact, they’re the ones who paid me for the recordings.

And now you’re telling me I have to PAY a platform fee just to do basically the same kind of work? Are you serious?

You’re using Minute Data too, so what exactly is this “platform fee” supposed to be for?

This is honestly ridiculous. A legitimate company pays its workers—it doesn’t charge them just to access a job.
