We bought a Range Rover from Highlanders GB and collected it two weeks ago today. I drove back from Coventry to Dorchester very happy with my £13990 purchase, I drove to work Monday morning and then left the car there until Thursday night when I took it home, I left for work at 4.30 am Friday morning and 20 miles in to the trip and the new car had a catastrophic failure, my partner had to get out of bed to come and save me and we had to leave the Range Rover on the side of a main road
I contacted the garage as soon as they opened and was shocked by their rude response and lack of interest, they offered zero help and all they would say is we had to get the car back to them (the car that ad broken down and didn't run and was 200 miles away).
When I finished work at 5pm I had to get a lift home and then borrow my dad's car and a friend's trailer to get the Range Rover off the verge where it had been parked all day, we finally got it home at 10pm and still had no idea what to do.
The next morning I woke up at 6am and decided to take it straight back to Coventry even though I firmly believed this should not of been my responsibility or that I should had to cover the cost of doing it but the response from the garage had given zero confidence in them and given me no hope of them helping unless I did something.
After a 6 hour trip we arrived on their forecourt to be met by a very apologetic salesman (Gursh) who said all the right things and promised it would be sorted but here we are a week later and all we have had from the garage is two very unhelpful emails that have basically said they are doing us a favour and we will just have to wait because they are to busy to do anything with it yet and they only sent those in reply to our emails.

We have now asked for our money back and heard nothing and we are left in no doubt we will have to pursue this through the legal system.
I will up date this review with each further update from them.

Gursh supported me through the whole process of selling me, my new car. He helped me negotiate with the finance company. Made the whole process smooth and easy. Outstanding service.

Put a £500 deposit on a £16990 bmw x5 at 4.30pm but after reading the bad reviews I cancelled the sale at 06.00 am the next morning! They answered my emails at 16.30 today to tell me that I can’t have my money back because they have started to prepare the car! Bull there’s no way they touched the car between 4.30 and 6am they started preparing after they got my 6am cancellation! If this is how they do business I’m glad I didn’t go through with the sale and give them my £16500 !

They have made sure we are happy with the car and explained in much detail as possible

If you enjoy dealing with dishonesty and nonexistent customer service, then HighlanderGB is the perfect fit for you. My recent experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. After making a payment for deposit, their attitude towards customer care took a complete nosedive. It's abundantly clear that once they have your money, they couldn't care less about you or your concerns.

Despite multiple attempts to contact them through email and phone calls, they have consistently ignored me. I am currently pursuing legal action against them, and I'm thankful I didn't go as far as a full vehicle purchase from them. It feels like a lucky escape. To anyone considering doing business with HighlanderGB, please heed this warning. Don't let their glossy photos and promises fool you. Their lack of integrity and disregard for customers are truly shocking.

There are many great reputable dealers out there, unfortunately this isn't one of them.

I arranged an appointment on a Friday to view a car on the saturday,
After reading the reviews I decided not no go ahead with the viewing,
They called me on the Saturday to see if I was coming, when I said I won’t be attending they hung up, I wouldn’t bother dealing with a company like this, I’m glad I didn’t waste my time or fuel going to view the car.

Really good experience, traveled a distance to collect a car and were really helpful with every aspect.

OJ very polite and knowledgeable toom the time to explain things and was happy for me to ask as many questions as needed.
