A scam you cannot return you cannot talk to them. They want more money to return than the actual order was I have half a dozen emails telling me I’m getting a refund but this has been going on for months. I believe the emails are just bots and not even real people.

I ordered and paid for shoes on July 4, 2025. To date, I have no shoes and they state they do not refund your money…..ever. Instead they keep saying they will send two more pairs. BS! They have told me this three times. Don’t be the sucker I was.

shoes are not what the advertised says. Very low quality materials used and when they sent me the wrong size the return address was to china which is very costly. Very poor customer service , customer service takes for ever to get back to you and the company is a scam.

For someone with a wide foot and high instep, these are the best fit I have had so far.
They are comfortable, and flexible.
I haven't road tested them yet, but from walking around the house, I'm reasonably confident that they will be fine.
Because of the wide toe box, they are hardly a fashion statement.
I suspect that they will wear like a typical cheaper shoe, and am not expecting too much in that regard.
Spend a little time in making sure that you get the fit right, if you don't do that, don't complain. They give you plenty of opportunity to do that.
I would suggest buying a high quality inner sole if you are going to be doing long hikes.
I would probably buy a higher quality shoe for that, but for a knock about shoe, these appear to be great.

Absolute garbage! The material is very low quality. My feet are wide and my feet were flopping around in too much space. There is no arch support at all - I mean there is nothing under the arches - just toe and heel. Tried to return for weeks with no response. When I finally reached them I was told I had to pay to mail to china and they insisted I track it. You can’t track once it leaves the United States!!!! I tried to get answers or help, but was ignored. I will donate them but think it’d be better to toss! What a waste of $75!! I’m furious at the false advertising.

They sent the wrong shoe size. When I called the number on the packaging it took me to a phone mill selling debit cards. The shipping label is cut off at the bottom so you can't see the contact info. The website I bought from is hikebalance.com. It is a total rip off.

The shoes were delivered too late for me to take on my trip. I requested that they cancel my order and they would not and the shoes were left on my porch for several days while I was out of town. I asked how to return them, and they requested pictures of the shoes and the packaging (it was ripped open, but the shoes were fine). They say to return these I would pay the return shipping for overseas and then wait an additional 7 days for a refund. I could not get an address to return them. I asked if htey could pay shipping since the sizing was wrong. It took 3 weeks for them to respond which gave me 3 days to have them back overseas. That was impossible. I also asked for a phone number where I could speak with a person instead of getting a different named person each time I emailed them. They apologized and said they did not have a phone number. Basically, "we have your money. You don't have time to send the back and get a refund. We don't care" I checked and now the web site is redesigned. They claim shoes are made in USA and have a phone number. I'd be surprised if they could move their operation here that quickly. Can't tell you how the actual shoes are because they don't fit, but beware if you have a problem, that inexpensive shoe might get pricier.

The online description of a wider toe box compared to a modern fit is totally inaccurate. The shoes are not made to a standard size at all. Buyer beware. I emailed supporthikebalance.com already and have had no response. Their return policy is impossible to fulfill since they took 4 weeks to deliver the shoes to me after purchase. They say to return these I would pay the return shipping for overseas and then wait an additional 7 days for a refund. If it takes 4 weeks to return they would be outside their 30 day return window. This is truly a buyer beware item and any positive reviews are probably created by the seller.

I order insoles and they were the wrong size. I wrote to the customer service and the only way to return these insoles was at my own expenses. To return such items in China cost almost the same price as the cost of the insoles, near 100$ CAD because they absolutely ask that you provide a tracking number wich is very expensive. Also, one sole of my running shoes teared apart from the rest. Poor quality. Stay away from this kind of chinese companies advertising on the web.

DO NOT buy these shoes. If I could give zero stars I would. Too small, no support, costly return to China. I reviewed them on their site and it never showed up. Just don’t buy them.

The shoes ship from China so it take about 3 weeks for delivery. The shoes are too narrow and short despite advertising "wide toe box." The shoes are also very stiff. When I emailed to request return instructions, I was offered another pair in exchange. Since the shoes have to be returned to China at my expense there is no way I want a second pair that may not fit. After that initial email exchange I have emailed 4 more times to get return instructions and have been met with silence. Bad product. Horrible customer service.

This company from China is a scam. Their return policies are atrocious. If you get the wrong size shoe you must take pictures to prove that it’s not damaged. You have 30 days to return from the day of purchase. Then you have to PAY for shipping. It cost through the US mail $33.00 to return a $55 dollar pair of shoes. Remember you have to return them to china.
This company is going to be out of business soon because they don’t understand the concept.

Will never buy another product from this company. bought two pairs of shoes, same size, different colors. One size fit but was more snug than I expected while the other shoes were at least a full size smaller even though they were the same size on tag. I can not wear them at all. Wide toe box is completely false statement. And as for the orthopedic sole, ha, that's a joke. About 3mm piece of foam. Tried to work with these folks several weeks to try to work out an exchange or refund. That was a nightmare. Their phone numbers never would connect no matter what time I called over several weeks. The email responses were very slow getting back each time. In the end, they wanted me to send the shoes all the way back to China to get a refund. What a joke! Shipping was close to the cost of one pair of shoes. So even if I sent them back, I would be in the hole about $50 after a full refund plus left with no shoes as well. My advice, don't deal with them.

This company is such a scam. They say their shoes are #1 for foot pain and scientifically designed to reduce nerve pain an improve mobility. I received the shoes and they are so cheaply made. When I tried them on they do not fit right at all. I ordered a half-size larger but my toes hit the end. Then on the top of the shoe it is so much higher then normal. Trying to return them is a joke. They list a Delaware address and phone# on their website/emails. But you have to return them back to China. The least expense way is nearly $30. When you try and call the number it takes you to a company selling travel plans, internet service, etc. and when you try and get through to a person it disconnects you.

Very difficult to return the shoes if you need a different size. They will first offer for you to keep the shoes and then sell you a second pair for a small discount. To return, you have to send them to China and the cost for return exceeds what you will have paid for the shoes. In the end, they may offer a 15% refund instead of sending them back. Still can't wear them as they don't fit and don't offer good arch support. I would not buy from them again.

The shoes are nothing like the advertisements. Nor is the satisfaction guarantee.
To start with the shoes run small and are very stiff and clunky looking.
Then you try to return them, it is at least 10 days before anyone responds. when they finally do, they try to get you to purchase additional pairs and not send the ones back. When you opt out of that, you have to submit pictures of shoes and packaging. Then it is another week before they will send you the return option. Turns out you are sending them back to China. Then they will be reviewed there to see if they qualify for your refund...
Truthfully by the time this all happened, I didn't want to be bothered anymore and donated the shoes.
Sharing for Buyer beware as they really are NOT what they claim to be.

Would leave zero stars if I could. They caused more foot pain than I’ve ever felt in any other shoe! They have a small toe box, not a larger one as advertised. And when you ask to return them, the company always has an excuse for not accepting the return. Add said 90 money back guarantee but they will not accept the return stating it’s 30 days.

Total scam! Shoes run extremely small. When you try to arrange a return they are very slow to respond. Once they do they don’t provide ant assistance. The shipping and tarriffs will cost you more than giving the shoes away!

The response seems empathetic and seems like they are willing to help. However, they will not respond in a timely manner. Their "policy" is that you can return the items ( you pay all shipping costs to China, plus extra costs per pair, plus you better insure the package!) within 30 days of purchase. I emailed them immediately after receiving the shoes, but they are incredibly non responsive. In fact, they made sure that they didn't respond with full instructions until the exact day that the 30 day period was up!!! Isn't that special!!! DON'T FALL FOR THEIR TOTAL SCAM.

I purchased 2 pairs of shoes and made sure I ordered slightly larger than European/US shoes because I wanted to add inserts. Even without inserts the shoes were far too tight. I immediately emailed the "support" email and was told that, in addition to shipping costs, I would have to pay them $30 to return them. I was livid. After a couple of emails, they told me to send pictures of the bottoms and the tops of the shoes and they would only charge me $15 plus shipping to return them. I sent them pictures and have yet to hear back from them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM.
