I have shopped with this brand for years, did my first order in 2020. The prices have gone up but expenses and COL have also gone up, so that doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the unfair extra costs for those purchasing in euro.

I bought the Cosima dress for a wedding, it cost me 253€ (which is 290$), and the dress on the site in dollars is 228$, meaning there is a 62$ extra charge on the euro price. This doesn't include tax as I paid the customs fee of 24€ (approx 27$), making the cost of the dress, minus shipping 317$.

I love the brand and I want to continue supporting but I can't purchase again until they have corrected their exchange rates.

I ordered two dresses on June 7,2026. They still have not shipped the dresses over two weeks later. I needed them by this past weekend. Asked to cancel order. No tracking update. I have left messages ( you only reach VM) I have emailed as well. No response. Finally, I contacted Amex for a refund. No customer service whatsoever!

I went to Charleston for the weekend and was so excited to go to Hill House Home and buy one of their pretty dresses. The boutique is so pretty and I found a dress I loved. They didn't have my size so they said, "They could ship it to me" I purchased the dress and I still have not received. I reached out to their customer service team twice and still have not heard back. At this point, I would just like to cancel the order, as the experience has been tarnished.
I understand being backed up but someone should have reached out to me by now. They need to work on their customer care as it is very important to keep customers coming back. I won't be. LR

I purchased a dress recommended by an influencer and paid $50 for shipment. The dress does not suit me. I started a return and saw a “handling fee” of $125.00. There is no mention of handling fees on their website! I’ve emailed the company three times. I’ve asked to ship using a courier of my choice to save money but no response. NO RESPONSE and HIDDEN FEES are unacceptable. I’ve notified the influencer and hope ahead cuts HH out. They’re a disgrace.

I’ll give them 2 stars cause their delivery was prompt and their returns portal was easy BUT the amount of money I’ve just lost on an order is absolutely ridiculous. Last summer I ordered a dress for £240 and returned it and got back £197.53 - lost a bit of money on the international return which I was surprised about. What I didn’t expect that a year later I would return another dress for £244 and only get back £84.45

That is INSANE. I’ve been a loyal HHH customer for YEARS and I’ll never shop with them again after losing £160 on a dress I don’t even own

Currently 5.5 months pregnant, I ordered three of their “nap dresses” for a wedding, assuming they’d be an easy, reliable option. Instead, this has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had.
I placed my order on 25 May and, a week later, still had no dispatch confirmation or tracking - nothing. I emailed customer service three times and was completely ignored, despite having spent over $750. At that point, the lack of acknowledgement was already alarming.
It took publicly messaging them on Instagram to get any response at all - nearly three weeks later. I was then sent a grovelling email full of empty apologies and promises that a tracking email would follow “shortly.” Unsurprisingly, that never materialised.
In all my years of online shopping, I have never had this amount of money taken with such a complete absence of communication, accountability, or basic customer service. Being ignored after repeated contact attempts is unacceptable, especially at this price point.
The dresses may look lovely online, but the way this company operates is deeply concerning. At best, it’s shockingly disorganised; at worst, it feels indistinguishable from being scammed. Either way, this is not a business I would trust or recommend to anyone.

I purchased a Ballet Nap Sweater in 2024 and was initially very happy with it. Unfortunately, the first time I washed it—following the care instructions provided—the sweater shrank significantly and lost its original fit and appearance.

When I contacted customer service, they suggested several methods to reshape the sweater, including soaking and blocking it. I followed those recommendations, but they did not restore the sweater. Despite explaining that this was the first wash, that the garment had been cared for properly, and that the recommended fixes were unsuccessful, I was told that because the purchase was made in 2024, no replacement, store credit, or other accommodation could be offered.

I understand that companies have policies, but I expected better durability from a premium-priced sweater. A garment should be able to withstand its first wash when cared for according to the manufacturer's instructions. I was disappointed not only by the product's performance but also by the lack of any meaningful resolution after reaching out for assistance.

Based on my experience, I would be hesitant to purchase from this brand again.

If I could give HHH less than a one star I would. Do not purchase. The clothing may look nice online but if something does not fit, do not expect a refund. They only offer store credit even though their website says refund to original payment method OR credit. I've been trying to get my money back on a dress for weeks now and am still arguing. Their clothes are not cheap and I'm about to get a lawyer involved. Please think carefully before buying from them.

Buyer beware! I was a first time customer so was unsure of sizing. I did not realize there was a 15 day return/exchange policy so was unable to exchange an item I purchased that was in the original packing with the tags still on (had only been tried on), a dress that cost over $200. For the expense, find a different brand like Boden or FarmRio that has good quality and much better customer service.

I have some of their clothing, and I love most of it. But I recently purchased an (expensive!) item that I was so excited for, and was severely disappointed with the quality. I wrote a review for the item on their website, and it's been over a month and it's still not posted. Every retailer has items that occasionally fall flat, it's not the end of the world. But I'm so turned off by the burying of poor reviews--I want to shop with a retailer that I can trust, especially at their price point.

I opted to do an exchange as opposed to a refund for an item that did not fit. I received the label immediately and noticed that the dress was bow on sale. Hill House would not honor the sale price and all of this transpired in a matter of 8 days. I returned the wrong sized item and the correct item was shipped but I did not receive the order. Hill House would not issue a refund snd offered to send another dress but also tried holding me hostage by stating if I do not receive the dress to the address I indicated on the order, that they will not be responsible for non-receipt or I can opt for a store credit. How horrible is a company that attempts to bully a customer. I opened a claim with the post office, filed a dispute with my bank and spoke with the mail carrier. After a week of no package, the carrier found the package. Be warned! This company is shady and will never have the opportunity of having my hard earned dollars again.

I purchased 2 items of the same size. Upon receipt only 1 of the items fit as the size marked the other item fit as at least 2 sizes larger than what was ordered/marked. I requested an exchange for a smaller size on this item which the company refused. Nor may it be returned. It is not ok to send an item that is clearly not as advertised and refuse to address.

I ordered a couple of dresses. I kept one but sent the other one back. Several weeks passed and I didn’t get refunded for the dress I returned so I emailed their customer service team, who didn’t respond to my email. I had paid with PayPal so I was able to submit a claim to get my money back for the returned dress, but I found this disappointing. It’s a shame because I do like the dresses but I won’t be buying from here again

I accidentally clicked on a dress online I put it in my basket and saw if there were any discount codes and the next thing the order went through the money was taken out of my bank Immediately I telephoned the bank, and they said I would have to contact the company first, I have sent 3 emails pleading with them to cancel the order, I have nothing in my account, the postage is £50, I am in tears as I have no food as the order came to £166 the company is Ignoring me.
