I purchased a vehicle from Hilton Suzuki and the aftersales experience has been extremely poor.
Shortly after purchase, I identified several issues that should have been addressed before sale on an “Approved Used” vehicle. More concerning, I was told in writing by their sales team that the brake pads had less than 400 miles of use because they fitted old pads to new discs— after suffering brake biting, examination & documentation later proved this was not true and they were 1000s of miles old, which is a clear example of the types of misrepresentation they made.
On top of that, key service items like brake fluid and air conditioning — both overdue and flagged on the service record — were not completed prior to sale.
I have now sent five emails to the dealer and received no response at all.
To make matters worse, I am being passed back and forth between Hilton Suzuki and Suzuki — the dealer points to the warranty, and the manufacturer points back to the dealer. As a customer, you’re left stuck in the middle.
I am still trying to resolve this, but based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to be cautious and verify everything independently before purchasing.

Today I brought my 4th Suzuki Swift from the Hilton Suzuki near Bishops Stortford.
Never used any dealer more than once, but Hilton Suzuki are so good, I always deal with Keith... And all the staff are really helpful, when I have had my other 3 in for service, MOT etc.
They just stand out in my mind, from my very first visit in 2010 I think, and today when I collected my first Automatic.
I can't recommend them more, they set the standards others should seek to reach.

I recently bought a used car from this Suzuki dealership and I can absolutely recommend Hilton’s at Bedfordshire, and believe you could buy with confidence from this company. Unlike some garages I had visited in my search, I found Hilton’s staff to be, open, fair, honest and extremely helpful. Every question or issue I had was answered and resolved. Steve Evans, who I primarily dealt with, was highly professional and went out of his way to ensure the whole process of trading my old car in and making the new purchase went smoothly and easily. I don’t think I could have been better looked after by Steve and his colleagues if I had been buying a brand new vehicle.

After a really bad experience buying a car from the official Abarth dealership in Bedford we saw a lovely few month old Abarth in our village dealership. From start to end such an amazing experience and what was turning out to be a real downer on my birthday turned into a totally WOW awesome and amazing birthday. Thankyou Anthony and the team for making us feel like we mattered and valued.
Cannot recommend enough.

I had my car serviced and MOT'd here a few days ago. Excellent service including dropping me and home and picking me up when completed.

Hilton Suzuki at Spellbrook near Bishop's Stortford is quite unlike any other car dealership, in my experience. No pressure at all. No hard sell. In fact, quite the opposite. Louise was just charming and I'd probably go so far to say that I may not have bought a car there at all if it hadn't been for her and for the calmness about the whole place. Thoroughly recommend her and the company.
