I've had a good experience with the team so far. They are responsive, supportive, and have helped me improve my CV while recommending useful CPD courses. Although I'm still working towards securing an NHS job, I appreciate their guidance and prompt communication throughout the process. I attended the 10 day Plab 2 course at Hive academy, and it transformed my perspective of exam. Dr Umar and Dr Shakeel provided focused and personal guidance as well as structured feedback. They were very supportive and engaging for every student. It was a great experience that helped me refine my approach to the exam and become more polished. 100% recommended for anyone preparing for Plab 2.

The academy is great with 1-1 feedback for stations. The tutors are very flexible and encouraging. They provide support throughout the journey for Plab 2

Handled by experienced consultants

Hive academy is run by experienced consultants who have been in the NHS for almost two decades. They are well aware of the UK system, and of what is expected from aspiring doctors and can definitely provide a good mentorship.

Flexibility

This was one of the key reasons I chose Hive academy. IMGs preparing for PLAB 2 would have varied requirements and Hive academy offers flexibility to suit their needs. There are options for personalised classes and mocks ( both online and offline) that are conducted one-on-one by senior consultants in the NHS

End to end support

medical pathway in the UK requires references, portfolios, audits and interview preparation. Hive academy can help with all of that! It’s not just a coaching platform for PLAB 2, but an academy that can support us throughout our journey in the NHS

( I didn’t know about this earlier, but references are an important part of the standalone FY2 application process, along with a higher cutoff for IELTS/OET )

The GMC centre for PLAB 2 is located in Manchester, and so is Hive academy, so that’s a significant plus. They can even help provide accommodation and support to aspirants.

I had only about a month to prepare for the exam and only with their guidance I was able to clear the exam.
