Regarding the Holdi-locks, I am having a hard time getting it to stay put. I guess that I just need more practice. Will keep trying.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes rolling or styling hair can take a little practice. The fit is key. With the many variations of securing as to how to best use them, the fit will feel customized and absolutely pain free. I do have to do a video showing that the U-Pin is flexible, it can be bent and stretched to fit the back of the head or wherever it best suites your style. Head shapes and sizes can be very different, add to that hair variations, and experience with styling. If the U-Pin pops out, it needs to be bent to contour. The new inventory that is coming will be smaller, this will not be such an issue. Hope this helps.
Styling w/o Damaging
I love the fact that I can style my hair in a way that will not cause breakage and it will still look nice. They are easy to use. I hope to order the other sizes soon. Thank you for a great product!

Easy order, not sure about the product.
The process of ordering was prompt and easy. I'm having a tough time using the product. I have very very long thin hair and I feel like it is easily tangled in the bells and whistles of the holdi-lock device. I'll keep trying but feeling really discouraged currently.

Don't be discouraged, It may be an easy fix, with real long thin hair anything can make it tangle, I agree. I see you have one small and one large. The best fit for very long hair is two smalls connected. The large and small can be connected also. Before rolling, give the upper portion of the ponytail a twist or two to keep it from poofing out. Until you are sure of how tight it needs to be, use the twist ties included to see how far apart the two ends are. I like using the ties myself, they work as good as the button, it just need to be folded over, don't twist the twist ties. That way the can be reused over and over. Any stiff plastic coated wire tie that folds works, such as a coffee bean bag tie. The less elastic with fine hair the better. If it feels tangled, lightly shake the unit, often some fine hair does get into the folds of the elastic.
Folding hair and pinning is always less hassle. Fold hair going in an under direction starting where it is gathered, and slide a pin with an over lap of both sides, especially with fine hair, thicker hair roll, with less overlap, just straight thru.
I want to love the holdi-locks
I want to love the holdi-locks, but I find that the hairpin often slips out. Perhaps this is because my hair is on the thinner side. I received two different styles of hair pins and one of them doesn't work at all for me. The other only works if I hook it around one end of the holdi-locks, which means that it always sits crooked as a barrette. I'd love a slightly longer hairpin so that it would stay more securely. That said, I still prefer using the holdi-locks as a barrette over other clips/barrettes/hair fasteners because it is so gentle on the hair and doesn't rip it out!
I'd also love if there were more decorative ribbons that had gold rather than silver and/or rhinestones. I don't wear much silver, so having more gold designs would help coordinate with my wardrobe!

Thanks for the feedback, yes very thin hair takes a few more steps. I will do a video. Recently I found some that have shockingly thin hair. It is possible to roll hair on a small one then put one on top that has a bling, that creates an abundance of hold. If doing hair the elastic band way, It is advisable to put the bling directly over the elastic with no gap, that holds it straight. Soon there will be an extra small size available to address holding very fine hair, the insertion holes are just big enough for the U-Pin.

Thank you! With very fine hair a secure hold can be achieved with scrunchies slipped on them first, it bulks up the grip. The next small sized Holdi-locks® lot will be a little bit smaller. It is in the works, coming soon.
