Holidayhomes.co.uk is same company as homeaway.co.uk and their service is terrible... they leave adverts open that are unavailable so they can take your money and hold you to ransom to pay for a place that is twice as much... I paid £360 for eight days accommodation while we move house... A day after booking the owner contacted us to say the site was closed.
Customer service said they would find us somewhere else, turns out that only will happen if we pay another £660 which we obviously do not have and as they cannot deliver the first time around how could we trust them... we now have to wait for a week to get our money back and hope someone will let us sleep on their sofa while we wait for our money to return, I have two small children and I am a single mother but this site and their sister site prey on customers to make extra money, they do not and are unable to provide any service that is customer focused...
The stress and last minute problems they have caused is likely to cost me another 1000£ in travel, odd accommodation and eating on the move... pls the stress physical and mental....I deeply regret using this company (who conveniently shy away from google reviews... I am reporting them to every uk governing body avalible and reviewing them and their sister companies on every site I can to warn people of these companies.
