Prompt communication

Had to cancel due to health of parents nothing was booked and got rip off of over a $1000 so would never go with your mob ever just a got pushed all over the place to get a refund

I’ve just made a booking for a holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia for later this year. Booking online was a simple process and it was the next day that Jordan contacted me with the relevant paperwork. So far everything has been easy and I’ve been given the timeframe of all the information I will receive.

Previous booking i made was streamlined and easy therefore HolidayMax was the choice this time. The fact its inclusive of airfares and is sorted for you is great. Choice of very good and safe accommodation also reassuring. A family member is planning on making a booking via yr company when they were aware of the ease of booking

This was the 1st time using holiday max & I must say that I was most impressed with only 2 complaints. The 1st one was that a representative was not there to meet us when we landed could not contact him after about 30mins he arrived. Transfer to the hotel to meet our guide Chein who was awesome the accommodation right through was fantastic. All the other Transfers were efficient. The next one was in Ho Chi Minh the hotel was tired & the guide was not that great Sean was his name, very poor English & walked way too fast with that amount of people & leaving some way back due to the crowds. I would not hesitate to recommend this company & looking forward to the next adventure in 3 week.

I viewed a trip on their website and since then I have been bombarded with emails from them. Have tried to unsubscribe repeatedly to no avail. Even got a call from Susan to explain how but again with no result. I thought all companies had to include a simple unsubscribe button on their page . Not good enough!

We booked our Classic Europe Trip and found the process easy(this was late 2025) before all the recent drama. I have contacted Holiday Max for clarity twice and found Renny terrific, she was very patient and answered with purpose, clarity and professionalism, thank you

A very easy process

I have a trip booked to Vietnam several weeks before I become ill diagnosed with advanced cancer rang holiday max enquiring possible refund received email back no refund as you changed your mind as per the fine print so it’s my fault for getting cancer

We had our holiday cancelled and Holiday Max gave us a full refund. We have booked again because their customer service is first class. This is my is my second Holiday Max trip. They are fabulous.

Just to give some context, I need to tell you about my travel group. I travel on average 3-4 months every year. My wife and I travelled to over 68 countries (many a number of times), before I lost her to cancer three years ago. I now travel more.
One of my travel colleagues has been struggling with a variety of issues, and I have convinced her and her friends to get away on a stress-free adventure. We decided on a river cruise with you despite some hefty single supplements but needed to go sooner than later.
We booked the 15 day Rhine River Cruise with an Amsterdam stay. We tried to call your office to ensure all of us were confirmed and to ask some questions, a number of times without any luck, so booked online changing our minds on the date at the last minute without realising our new date was cruising in the opposite direction to what we wanted. I rang the Perth office first thing this morning requesting a change as we could see our original sailing date 7 October still had vacancies but was slightly more expensive. I explained that there were only a few cabins left but I kept getting told that the account manager was not in until Monday. I finally got to talk to a consultant who abruptly told me that a change was not possible. When I pressed the point and explained I hadn't even received my confirmation e-mail and our booking was less than 24 hrs old, he said that we would have to pay thousands of dollars in penalties due to accommodation bookings. I appreciate you have to make the return legs of cruising trips viable but given the circumstances, I feel the policy applied was both harsh from a new customer relations perspective and very questionable. I acknowledge that at the end of the day this problem was caused by our mistake not yours. I am a key player in the Travel Arm of the University of the Third Age, and a regular presenter. I am an ex- senior executive and understand the challenges of business today. Thank you for considering my feedback, your time is greatly appreciated.
