I recently completed a fairly complex refurbishment bridging case with Hope Capital which involved a number of moving parts around the valuation, monitoring surveyor, structural works, insurance and changes to the proposed works.

What stood out was the accessibility of the underwriting team and their willingness to work through the issues rather than simply taking a rigid approach. Ginny in particular was responsive, pragmatic and happy to discuss the case properly when points needed clarification. Where problems arose, we were able to have sensible conversations, explore workable solutions and keep the transaction moving.

It was not the most straightforward case, but Hope showed flexibility where appropriate and good communication throughout, which is particularly important on specialist property finance transactions.

Rachel, the underwriter, and Kayla from the post-completions team were both excellent to deal with, communicating clearly and working collaboratively to help bring my refinance to a successful conclusion.

I particularly appreciated their pragmatic approach and willingness to find sensible solutions. During the auction purchase, they worked incredibly hard under very tight deadlines to enable me to complete on time.
