Fantastic product!
The Hornit AIRO is an absolutely fantastic product. My 2yo son loves it and has taken it to it like a pro! I’m so proud.
The bike looks great and has some neat design features which mean not only is it light but also practical and safe (chunky handlebar bumpers being an absolute win).
Have recommended to all of my friends!

It’s a beautiful bike too, you and feel the quality and it’s much better than the cheap and cheerful ones out there.
Delivery was terrible
DHL delivery......no it was contracted to a woman in a van, (Diamond Logitics) not DHL. I wasn't home so she asked if I could collect from her home...... I got the bike moved to the DHL Depot, massive inconvenience.

Frayed cable replaced, FOC.
The cable to the Hornit 'loudest' bike horn frayed and was shorting out. As a result the horn would sound randomly, much to the annoyance of anyone nearby. I contacted the company and without hesitation they offered to send me a replacement- 2 days later it arrived - what a great service!!

My daughter LOVES her Airo. My nephew also has one and is equally as obsessed - biking to school is his favourite part of every day!
Lovely with a small flaw
Bought my son a Hornit for Christmas, and was very impressed with the design of the bike , great looks ,and it clearly rides well , with smooth wheels and a nice well built feel .
Only slight issue is that whenever it falls over on tarmac or a pavement (this happens alot with a toddler) there is a sickening crunching scrape from either the back of the rear wheel arms or the foot rests , and the coating comes off in huge chunks , it's a bit of a shame because it's such a good looking bike , perhaps a tactileplastic protector on either side of the foot plate would be a good idea
All in all it's a great product and regardless of paint chips my son loves it and looks really cool riding it .

I bought a Hornit Airo for my first son in 2022 and since he's outgrown it, and my second son is now old enough to start on a balance bike, I decided to respray it and gift it to him for Christmas. The team at Hornit were very helpful in sending some new stickers (FOC!) for the resprayed bike to make it look new. Thanks!
Faulty product and 'missing' return
I bought the vacuum bike rack.
It didn't work at all
I spent £7 returning it first class and they are saying they never received it and no money back.

Good components for the price point
I bought 2 kids bikes. Both excellent bikes and the kids love them. These bikes have good components for the price point. Would recommend.

Incredible customer service and…
Incredible customer service and delivery. My kids absolutely love their bikes, we’ve got the 12 and 14” balance bikes with matching helmets
No Bike Arrived
Spent nearly £400 on a bike for my 6 year old son and was guaranteed delivery in 24 hours.
Given a delivery window of between 18.39 and 19.39 so sat up excitedly with my boy. Delivery didn’t arrive and looked on tracking which guaranteed it would be there later that day- did not arrive. Check tracking again and it now says next day.
Nobody called me or informed me of any issue so I was left tucking a crying child into bed for the night.
Contacted their customer services who did the usual “it’s not us, it’s the courier” routine. When do these people learn that THEY select and manage the courier and as such need to take responsibility when things go wrong.
As it is, I am stuck in the house for a second day with no updates from Hornit or the courier with the only
Guarantee I have been given is that I will not be compensated for my time or effort.
UPDATE
Hornit did nothing to assist me with my missing item and even told me it was easier for me to deal with the courier than them.
I eventually arranged to collect the item from a depot 30 miles from my home in the pouring rain.
Buyer beware- you will pay a premium price but get bargain basement customer service here.

While building the bike, found that there was a piece missing so 6 days after ordering, 2 hours of phone calls, a 60 mile round trip in the rain and 1/4 tank of fuel, I still do not have a complete bike.
Hornit’s response is basically that even though they promise 24 hour delivery, there is “very little suppliers can do to influence timely fulfilment once the product is collected by the courier” essentially washing their hands of the matter.
They tell me “ in our experience it is almost always faster if the customer makes contact with DHL themselves” - unbelievable really as they seem to fail to realise that I am not a customer of DHL, I have not employed DHL, not paid DHL, not dealt with DHL. THEY are the customer of DHL. I am a customer of Hornit- a customer who they have let down badly yet are too thick skinned to see it.

Be wary of reviews on the Hornit website as I have left one that has not displayed. It would appear these are “curated” by the business to inflate their apparent score.

You will see from the response from Hornit that they confirm all of the above.
Basically, “Well we sent the bike Guv, nothing to do with us”- they literally did NOTHING to assist as they freely admit.
Also note they conveniently fail to address the items missing from the box (probably the couriers fail that one).
They also fail to address how they only appear to display positive reviews on their website (wonder who they can blame for this one? Web site sleeper maybe?).
After passage of time, I have calmed down a little and can smile at these pathetic excuses.

Faulty bicycle horn
My bicycle horn stopped working after a couple of bike rides so I contacted the company for advice. My email was answered promptly by Louis who asked me to return the unit for testing but to keep all the fittings for spares and that he would sent out a replacement horn. The very next day I was surprised by a delivery man with my replacement horn. In this day and age I think first class service like this is very rare.
A massive thank you to Louis and Hornit for the prompt way that they resolved the matter.

Fast delivery, lovely bright green bike with thick wheels. The bike is super cool!!
