Not recommended, very bad service and technology.
After more than three years as a customer, I can honestly say it's been one of the most frustrating services we've ever used.
1. Their hosting environment has caused repeated spam issues that eventually affected our own website, yet they refused to take responsibility.
2. Downtime is frequent, and we often find out before they do. Communication is poor, and support is practically nonexistent.
3. Every interaction with customer service feels like going in circles. Promises are made, but very little gets resolved.
We've lost countless hours, wasted money, and dealt with unnecessary disruption to our business. I genuinely wouldn't recommend them.

We are sorry that your experience ended on this note, but several statements in this review are inaccurate.
The downtime referenced was a one-off incident, not a pattern of frequent outages. Our team worked to restore service as quickly as possible. During an active incident, our immediate priority is identifying the fault and restoring service rather than sending individual updates to every customer. Service disruptions are published on our public status page, and a root-cause analysis can be provided once the issue has been fully investigated and resolved.
The email service was provided as part of a cPanel shared-hosting environment, not as a dedicated enterprise email platform. We use the spam-control and reputation-management tools available within cPanel and continuously tune the environment, but shared email hosting cannot provide the same level of isolation and deliverability control as a dedicated enterprise email service.
During the incident, our support team was informed that negative reviews would be posted unless the issue was resolved and a manager contacted you within ten minutes. Reviews were subsequently posted across multiple platforms. You also requested both a prorated refund and an additional month of free service. We offered a prorated refund as a policy exception but declined the request for additional free service.
Our staff remained professional despite repeated confrontational communication. Once it became clear that the working relationship had broken down, we advised migration to another provider and confirmed that we would cooperate with the transition.
We accept genuine criticism and use it to improve our service. However, threats of negative reviews, disrespectful communication with support staff, and demands for additional compensation are not acceptable.
Despite everything, we value the fact that you remained with us for more than three years. We would appreciate an opportunity to rebuild your trust and ask that you give us another chance to address your concerns professionally.

A lesser-known hosting provider that deserves more recognition
I have been associated with HostMyCode since 2021, and my experience has been consistently positive. I originally discovered them only after extensive research—going through multiple hosting providers, reseller options, and countless review pages. They are not easily visible on the first or second page of search results, but after going through nearly 200 pages of research, I finally found them. I’m glad I did.
Their support team has always been helpful, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile. From the early days when I was new to website development—when my site was affected by a compromised GPL theme—they helped me restore everything and recover my website safely.
Over time, I’ve also faced performance issues on shared hosting, including CPU spikes causing WordPress admin “connection reset” problems. The team actively helped troubleshoot and resolve these issues, and based on my long association, they even increased my CPU quota without additional charges.
What stands out is not just support, but the overall hosting quality. They provide modern infrastructure, and features like free daily backups, Imunify360 security, and unlimited email accounts add real value. For me, it has provided a strong sense of reliability and peace of mind.
Overall, HostMyCode feels like a hosting provider that prioritizes long-term customers and practical support rather than just selling plans. I hope more people who are looking for reliable hosting discover them, as I did.

Hello,
This review leaves out several important facts, so we would like to clarify what actually happened.
Your VPS was automatically provisioned immediately after purchase - there was no 24-hour delay. Our system activates VPS orders instantly, and your server credentials were delivered right away.
Before purchasing, you specifically asked whether port 25 was open. Our team clearly informed you that port 25 is restricted on our basic plans due to heavy spam abuse, and requests to open it must go through a review process.
Despite this, you proceeded to purchase our lowest plan (₹599 VPS) and immediately requested that port 25 be opened and a PTR record be set pointing to a bulk-mail related domain. For obvious security and abuse-prevention reasons, such requests are not approved instantly and must go through verification.
Additionally, the order raised risk flags because the account location was Ukraine while the payment was made using a US card, which requires additional checks under our abuse prevention policies.
When we informed you that the request was under review, instead of waiting you chose to post a negative review claiming the service was not delivered.
For the sake of customer satisfaction, we still issued a full refund, even though the VPS had already been provisioned and accessible.
We take network reputation and abuse prevention seriously. Restrictions like port 25 filtering on entry-level VPS plans exist specifically to protect our infrastructure and other customers from spam activity.
We wish you the best with another provider that better suits your requirements.
