I received a dress I didn't like and returned it with no confirmation or notification of this. Following this, I emailed to chase up my refund and was advised there was a strong odour on the dress - It was an open abaya which I tried on for less than a few minutes and didn't like the fit of it so decided against keeping it soon after. There's absolutely no way there could have been any odour or scent on the dress - this is just a ploy to get more money and refuse a refund. I checked consumer rights and I was well within my rights to return this too.
They then refused to send the abaya back without EXTRA fees, after I had already paid out of my own pocket for the return. They then threatened to keep the dress, if the funds weren't transferred from the delivery by the next day? What sort of crookery is this?
I decided against paying more than I had already paid for a dress I didn't want and had paid for, and extra delivery costs TWICE already at this point. So ultimately I lost all this money for nothing. Is this how a muslim business operates? Are they happy to eat from money that is haram?
This is very bad business practice and terrible customer service - I hope their service improves.

As a muslim business we believe we are accountable for every penny that we earn and have always processed refunds as long as they are returned in line with our policy. Very bad customer service
Very bad customer service! no address, no phone number and really bad email communication.
Delivery is a week when you pay for next day delivery.
Returns policy doesnt comply with uk laws.
Avoid ordering.

You tried to cancel your order but your order had already been dispatched to which we sent you the returns address as you requested so you could return your order when received. Considering we are in the month of Ramadan and an extremely busy period for our business, we still responded to your emails within the same day. It is therefore very disappointing to see you have left a negative review despite deciding not to return your items nor letting us know of any issues you may had in returning your order.

Great quality and price
I ordered a thobe for my husband as a ramadan gift. It's excellent quality and a lovely colour. Ts also a reasonable price and not overpriced like some places. Extremely pleased with my purchase and will be shopping from here again.

For someone who’s never tried or worn a Thobe before, I really wanted to start wearing it for Taraweeh this year.
I bought two Omani Thobes and I did not expect the fitting to be so on point but most importantly the cotton quality. The Thobe hardly manages to catch any at all whereas other materials tend get creased up easily.
If you’re someone looking to wear a Thobe for the first time or just adding to your collection, I highly recommend purchasing from House of Thobes.

I understand it can differ for materials. but Customer service is worse, i sent return with next day delivery option. been almost a week didnt receive any response from them. Although initially i asked for exchange, they asked me to place a new order and make payment for new item!

Asalaamu alaykum. It is very disappointing to see you have left a negative review. We have a size guide present on the website but do suggest its just a guide and does not guarantee fitting. When you emailed us to initiate a return we asked you whether you would like a bigger size as you expressed the size you ordered was tight. We then sent you our returns process which is to place a new order for the new size you require and return the original for a refund. This is a completely transparent policy on our website and one that is employed by many small businesses as managing direct exchanges is not manageable especially during busier periods. You immediately responded with it being a "scam" and suggested "we should learn more about business." Despite these comments we continued with initiating your return. We aim to process refunds within 7 days in normal periods and upto 21 days in busier periods. This is again advertised on our website. Your order was refunded within 7 days of receiving your order despite the business being in an extremely busy period. You will have received a notification to confirm this. It is really disappointing that you have written this review when we have been completely responsive and cooperative to your emails.
