We are appointed by Insurers to impartially validate a Customers claim in line with the Insurance policy terms, claims guidlelines and where appropriate, offer a fair settlement value or provide access to the services of an approved building repair contractor. We do not receive any commission / reward from Insurers for the outcome or value of a Customers claim. We are paid a fixed amount to provide our opinion on the cause and value of a claim. HRNL has a network of individual building damage surveyors and repair contractors to aid in the validation and settlement of a claim across the UK.

A very stressful situation
I had a very stressful time after my home was flooded. Chris from HRNL was very professional and made the situation a lot less stressful for me, sorting everything out from start to finish.

HRN took much of the stress out of a traumatic few weeks.
I had a phone call from my mother-in-law to say she had arrived home from a weekend away to discover the ceiling coming down in her main bedroom and the carpet soaked. On investigation it transpired that some very stormy weather while she was away had caused water ingress from the roof. As she is 80 years old and prone to panic and anxiety, I took over the administration of the insurance claim and Churchill told me that Home Repair Network would be in touch to assess and deal with the claim.
From start to finish their service has been exemplary. Gemma took over the file and kept me posted at all times. She arranged for an assessor to look at the damage and, although other issues turned up after he submitted his report, she instructed a local building services company to carry out their own review and subsequently sanctioned the additional work. To their credit, the local company were very sensitive to the needs of my mother-in-law and were courteous and efficient throughout. When they had finished the work, Gemma was quickly in contact to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
At a stressful time for the family, I cannot fault the service provided by Gemma at HRN nor the care and attention of the local building company. Both organisations helped enormously to make a difficult few weeks much more tolerable. Well done to both!

I had storm damage in December 2024. I had never dealt with this type of damage before, and really was at a loss. Carolyn, of the team, has been an absolute brick, in talking me through this stressful time, in a positive, polite and professional manner. Thank you HRNL for sorting roof repairs and extensive water damage to my home caused by wild storms in January. It seemed a long time before repairs were started but can understand when I now realise the planning that had to be done to make sure that everything went like clockwork from furniture being taken away and returned a month later. Work now completed and am very happy with results.
I feel I have to mention that any phone calls I had occasion to make were answered immediately or was returned very shortly. This meant a lot to me so thank you Richard, Jenna and all those friendly people in AIM and Belfor.

We have had quite a stressful time with the situation at our home and damaged caused by a leak. Initially it seems like the surveyor who came out and did our initial assessment ,didn’t write up fully the problem which was concerning . Fortunately Ellie Stone listened thoroughly to our situation and once we provided more details and a builders report , the situation was resolved fairly quickly we were able to get the help that we really needed . I appreciate the company’s flexibility to re listen to our situation and not shut down the conversation.
So we are very grateful to Ellie for her patience and taking time to really understand the complexity of the situation and also for her politeness and kind manner .
