I paid for my Hydra account over a week…
I paid for my Hydra account over a week ago, I got the receipt. I haven't been able to log in yet. Everytime I get a notice to open my account, it just tries to sell me the hydra account again. Is this really a scam? I believe it is. If it isn't set up my account and help me open it

I've used many prop firms over the…
I've used many prop firms over the years, and one thing that genuinely surprised me about Hydra Funding was their AI support chat.
I asked detailed questions about trailing drawdown, profit buffer rules, payout eligibility, consistency requirements, and account risk management. The AI provided clear, accurate, and immediate answers every time.
What impressed me most was that it didn't just give generic responses—it understood the context of my account and helped clarify complex rules much faster than most support systems I've used.
Customer support teams are still important for specific cases, but for day-to-day questions, this AI has been one of the most useful tools I've seen in the prop firm industry.
A very positive experience so far.

Top Prop Firm Around! They PAY
Straight up, one of the BEST prop firm companies i traded for. I made $8000 on 1 trade. They approved AND paid out the 90% profit split within 3 business days.
They have since tightened their rules and no longer offer instant accounts with Balance Based Drawdown.
Because of the new changes I am no longer trading with HydraFunded.
This is normal as it seems across the board in the industry now they hold the same standards except again, they actually payout!
Support has reached out to ask for an interview with me which Im gonna make some time for.

I feel like if they had better trading platforms I would have given it a better review, the platforms they provide will most likely cost you more money then you make with these slow, buggy, glitchy trading platforms

I am KYCd and live outside of USA so it should be no issue whatsoever.
Also a affiliate for them and never got my payout.

After reviewing the account referenced in your review, the evaluation unfortunately recorded a maximum drawdown breach. In order for an account to move to the funded stage, the profit target must be achieved while all risk parameters remain intact at the same time. If a rule breach occurs, the account becomes ineligible for upgrade even if the profit target had previously been touched.
We understand that this can sometimes be confusing, especially when the account balance briefly appears above the target level. Our team has already been in contact with you via email and we’re happy to review the account history together and walk through how the evaluation was processed.
Regarding the affiliate payout mentioned in your review, the commission balance on the affiliate dashboard is currently below the minimum withdrawal threshold, which is why a payout has not yet been processed.

I found my home with Hydra
I have traded propfirms for over 3 years now. Many different companies, some ok but most of them bad. Only out to trip wire you with hidden rules so they can make money of fees.
I have been with Hydra now for almoust a year and already from the very start I knew I found my place to be.
Why?... super clear rules. Unique and great products (accounts and challenges). Very good and easy to understand dashboard that gives you all the data you need to trade safely and have controll over you max drawdown limits etc.
Their instant program is fenomenal. Since I started trading it I completely stoped trading challange accounts. This is the real deal. A prop firm by REAL traders for traders.

Recurring Order Execution Errors
This is the 3RD stop loss error that I have encountered. My account (#5007210) has had multiple issues with cTrader (or their backend system) not acknowledging my stop loss orders at all. This wasn't even close to the 5PM EST rollover window this time.

Potential Scam Exposed?
An Italian group of hedgers called ACACCIADITRADER admitted publicly on YT that Hydra knowingly tolerates this behaviour. I can not paste links here but you can search for acacciaditrader on Luigi Balboni channel and you will find the 3h live I am talking about, in which it is mentioned they cheat the system by hedging "thanks to Hydra that allows it".
Now I understnad why they did not reply to my reports back then.
So, as of now, the scenario appears like this: while Hydra publicly forbids hedging in its T&C, it apparently also accepts a private group to secretly behave in this way just to get some additional fee.
How would an honest client react knowing that the fees they lose go to enrich the pockets of hedgers?
How desperate for fees a company must be to do this for selling a few challenges more?
Hydra, kindly either clarify this publicly or stop this behavior and ban the rotten apple involved, before regulators do, thanks
EDIT: the correct translation from italian is actually: "thanks to Hydra that made this possible", which is even worse than "thanks to Hydra that allows it". If it is not true, then you should act accordingly.
From my side, I am not sure what should I do more than telling you the YT channel and the name of the video as I did already. Considering I am not one of your employees and I won't get any compensation, I think you should already thank me for bringing this to your attention and giving you the chance to clarify publicly and clean the group.

Your claims are incorrect.
Hydra does not permit hedging, account mirroring, group manipulation, or any behavior designed to bypass our rules. This applies to every trader, without exception. No private groups, no side deals, no “secret permissions.”
If someone on YouTube is claiming they can “cheat the system,” they are simply misleading people — and attaching Hydra’s name to that misinformation doesn’t make it true.
We enforce our Terms & Conditions strictly, and any account found violating them is removed. If you had submitted an actual report with verifiable evidence, it would have been investigated like every other case we handle.
Public accusations without evidence don’t help anyone — but if you do have something concrete, you can send it to support@hydrafunding.io
, and our compliance team will look into it.
Until then, we stand by our integrity, our rules, and our traders who actually follow them.
