HydroKidz Swim School Reviews

Classes are small, which helped my child to progress and grow in confidence with her swimming. The instructors were friendly and they made the classes fun and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Hydrokidz.

My daughter has been attending group swimming lessons with hydrokidz for a year now and is really enjoying it. We have had a number of different teachers over the last year for my daughter’s class so can’t comment on a specific teacher but all have been friendly and engaging. The lead teacher, Jacob, is great at overseeing the lessons and makes sure the children are progressing as expected. The facilities at Danesfield are clean and well managed. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter so long to waiting for Hydro therapy session, very good opportunity to join the lessons she's really enjoying with her swimming coach called Jacob very kind & friendly service we recommend to every places it's good opportunity to specially sick disable children, thank you providing this.

We had a lesson today with jodie at Basingstoke this morning she was brilliant with my daughter many thanks 😊

My daughter did the 1-2-1 crash course over half term. Jessica was an amazing teacher for her, recognising that she needed to improve her confidence. She was thoughtful and understood how best to get through to my daughter, ultimately improving her technique and her love for swimming. After just the first lesson, she declared it was the best swimming class she’d ever had!

I have 2 children in Hydrokidz lessons on a Saturday morning at Reading Bluecoats. Their teachers, Reuben and Eve are absolutely amazing and make the lessons fun and engaging. The children look forward to coming along every week and I am so impressed with their progress, all thanks to their brilliant teachers.

This is my daughters 3rd lesson now and is really enjoying it and learning well.

Thank you very much.

Attention to detail in regards to stroke improvement for all disciplines

Happy with the Hydrokidz service, they are flexible if you need to change your slot, keep you posted with the progress of your child with an online account and regular reporting.

Special shout out to James for helping my son, as can see significant progress in his swimming abilities and confidence.

We’ve had an incredible experience with our swim teachers, and I just have to shout out Teacher Ben and especially Edward. Ben brings great energy and keeps the kids motivated and engaged every session. But Edward has been a true standout — his understanding of autism is exceptional. He approaches every lesson with patience, compassion, and a calm confidence that makes such a difference. Edward truly sees each child for who they are, meeting them where they’re at and helping them thrive. It’s not just swim instruction — it’s inclusive, thoughtful guidance that builds trust and confidence in and out of the water.
With Monica’s leadership and such a dedicated team, we couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Jessica has a week intensive course with Ben at Reading blue coat. The course helped her really get the technique of her strokes. The fact that the teacher is in the pool demonstrating has really helped her. They helped her move from level 4 to 5 and even practiced diving. She loved it! Facilities good too, all coaches friendly and the pool is warm! Thank you!

Our child had a great experience and made terrific progress in a week. It was great to see their confidence build in such a short period of time. We are very grateful to Ben.

Hydrokidz at Reddam house in Wokingham is amazing. I have my two kids going there and they totally love it. Every time I can see them improving thanks to the great work the instructors are doing. Omar is brilliant with my daughter at higher level. My son is 3 and half and he just started with Tara. She did amazing job to settle him down and make him enjoy his lessons. Thanks for the great work.

We are really impressed with our swimming teacher for our son and daughter.
Omar goes above and beyond and he’s a great teacher and has really helped build their confidence in the water. Our son is quite a nervous swimmer and Omar has really taken the time to get to know what works best with our son.
We have noticed such a difference in his swimming and confidence.
Thank you so much for always being great with both our children.

Amy teaches my grandson lennie shes very good with him and hes doing very well

Amy is an instructor, incredibly patient and very friendly. Highly recommended

Really friendly teachers. Put my son at ease in the water

I booked my two sons in for the half term crash course. They loved it! Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and quickly recognised where the weaknesses were and focused on that. My younger son hadn't had swimming lessons at all and by the end of the week, he was swimming! It was amazing to see. I can't thank the wonderful staff at Hydrokidz enough. I will definitely be signing them up for weekly lessons. Thank you!!!

Our son has been learning with Omar for over a year, and he's regularly progressing through the achievement levels. Omar has a great rapport with the children, and our son really loves his lessons.

My daughter’s 2nd lesson as she is really improving already due to her swim teacher Ali . He is a fantastic teacher
