This is the worst shipping company…
This is the worst shipping company I have ever used in my life. I ship pallets frequently and I have never had such a bad experience. First they are very unprofessional and are greedy. My delivery has been delayed almost a month and costed my business $10k+ in damages which I will be pursuing in court. But they do not accept fault and are terrible to work with. Icontainers decided to hire customs agents that were cheap and unprofessional which also were not specialized in the category of goods that I was shipping which was beverages. So I had to go out of my way and hire a customs agent and a week later it got by. But when the storage charge of 1.3K came by I told them that they will be covering that as it’s not my fault they were not able to pass customs. They in response told me that the information which I gave them was incorrect which is strange because my customs agent that I hired seperately had the same exact information that they had. So I knew they were just talking bs but when I kept fighting with them they eventually told me that if I don’t pay the bill they will dispose of my goods worth around 30K+. They held my goods hostage until I payed a wrongful fine. And then to make it worse. The final delivery got rescheduled now because of today the 3rd time. I’ve cancelled appointments on Thursday,Friday, and now Monday waiting for this delivery. I will be seeing all the associated companies in court and I will be getting my rightful compensation.

CUANDO RECEBI LA MERCANCIA EN EL DESTINO ESTABA DESTRUIDO UN MARCO DE GRAN VALOR SENTIMENTAL PUES LO PUSERON MALO EN EL PALLET E LO DAÑARON. ESCREBI A LA TRANSPORTADORA E ME DIJERON QUE IVAN A ACCIONAR EL SEGURO, DESPUES DE MUCHO ESPERAR (COMO QUE 2 MESES) LES PREGUNTE SOBRE EL REEMBOLSO E ME DIJERON QUE NO HABIA REEMBOLSO, QUE EL SEGURO Y TAL.
Great except for...
My husband and I hired iContainers to ship a pallet of household goods from Canada to the UK. I started my communication with them in January 2023 with our move planned for October of that year, so lots and lots of notice. Everything was going well at first, I was very impressed by how quickly they responded to emails (sometimes within 5 mins). The plan was for us to drop off our goods at a warehouse to be palleted and shipped before our flight to the UK in October. They had months of notice (I let them know the date of our flights when I booked them in mid August) before we left and was assured that this was plenty of time to arrange everything. As the date of our flights creeped closer and closer, I was constantly (every 1-2 days) emailing them asking when we could drop off our goods. They kept putting us off and putting us off. We were not told a drop-off date until after we had left Canada...Thankfully my parents were willing to hold onto our things for us and drop them off on our behalf but I have absolutely no idea what we would have done if that had not been the case. It was really disappointing because otherwise they were great, like I said very responsive and kept us informed every step of the way when our cargo was in transit. However, this situation had the potential of being a very serious inconvenience if we had not been able to make alternate arrangements, and was altogether really not acceptable given the amount of notice that we had given them about our flights.

Worst International Moving Company
I used this company to move my stuff to Colombia from USA, it was the worst decision, they charge a first amount for the container rent, taxes ,and the shipping to your final destination, finally the ask for a deposit to make sure you return the container to the port, and this is the money they steal from you, in my case 2.500 US dollars
After drooping the empty container back in the port ( where I picked it up), they said it was in a wrong port and with that excuse they stole my deposit

Very bad experience
Very bad experience. Do not use them at any cost. Stay away alert. They took my money and shipped half of our shipment. When I asked for another half, their representative asked for the proof that I have originally booked. When I sent him the proof of my original shipment, he then sent me the quote which was costlier than the original one because he included other charges again. When I asked for my refund he agreed but I didn't get any refund even after waiting for two weeks. Now he stopped replying to my emails now.
