I purchased TurboTax 2025 Business and TurboTax 2025 Home & Business as downloaded versions. The authorization codes worked for downloading and activation but when I tried to add in the State return via TurboTax it failed. I finally contacted TurboTax and they informed me the activation codes were fraudulent so if I tried to add state returns or if I tried to file electronically using this activation code software it would fail. They said idiotax.com is NOT an authorized seller of TurboTax! I had to purchase the software again from an authorized seller to finish my taxes. TurboTax advised me to contact my credit card to dispute the charges but they refused because I bought the product earlier this year so it has been too long between the sale and the discovery that it was pirated software. Google makes money promoting them as a Sponsored seller, Idiotax makes money from selling pirated software, TurboTax makes money from selling it the second time, credit card company made money on their transaction fees twice - only the customer (me) got left holding worthless software! It even permanently screwed up my TurboTax account to such an extent that their customer support couldn't replace the pirated version with the clean version so they helped me move the legitimate purchase to another email account. An hour and a half on the phone with TurboTax cleaning up the mess this pirated software caused to my intuit account!
