One year ago, UPS lost my package and I began a very long claim process. Sebastien, the person behind Idyllproducts.com, was sportive throughout the entire process and today I have finally received my Ultrapod! Sébastien was even so kind as to send the newest model instead of the old model I had previously purchased.

I am extremely happy with the customer service of this brand and I am also very satisfied with the results the Ultrapod delivers. I cannot recommend it enough :)

I never received the product. A shipping label was created 3/3/26 and USPS is still awaiting item. Order was placed 1/14/26, asking me to write a review is just cruel.

Customer service was easy to get a hold of and took care of the issue promptly. I hadn’t received an outstanding item from my purchase months prior. It was a pre-order. I emailed and got a quick response and by the next week, the item was delivered. Super easy, very professional, and I really like their product for at home and travel use to keep my retainers clean.

I received mine about a week ago. So far so good, it does a great job cleaning my retainer. And it doesn't overheat the water. I'd say one of its best advantages is the price. The price / quality ratio looks great to me compared to other offers on market.

The only (minor) weakness I've observed is the lid: sometimes it can be a bit hard to close it properly. And if you don't, water might get out of the container. Also the website could use some more work.

It works as promised, looks great, and overall seems very sturdy in the week I’ve had it so far, using it once a day for my night-only aligners!

A few constructive remarks:

- the case magnetically attaches to the base, but the force is relatively weak so it’s harder to seat the case properly than it should be. It would be awesome to see this improved in a future iteration.
- the activation button is touch only. I’ve activated it accidentally a few times while trying to get the case seated properly, especially when the case is empty and thus weighs less. The button is extremely sensitive: all it takes is the smallest graze of the smallest edge of a finger, easy to do if you’re trying to seat the case by touch (letting a finger or two hang over the case to feel the base) rather than by sight. A physical button would avoid accidental activations.
- it feels possible to over-tighten the lid since the threads allow the lid to dig into the washer. I don’t know if this is truly an issue or just in my head, but my assumption is that over-tightening would lead to the washer prematurely wearing out. So I’ve been trying to find the right balance of “sealed but not too tight”. It’s not a huge issue but it’s something that, for a daily interaction (e.g. part of a routine), I don’t really want to think about.

Again, the above are something I’d hope is helpful feedback for the future, and WOULD NOT prevent me from recommending or buying again!

EDIT: I cannot reply, so I’ll put it here. Thanks for the info about physical buttons, that makes so much sense! A long press sounds like a worthwhile tactic to investigate. You’ve made a great product!!

Works great and love that it's modular. The entire set feels sturdy and well made. Bigger plus: it isn't an eyesore on my bathroom counter. Trying to be more eco conscious and love that company prides itself in helping you repair it if it breaks so BIFL friendly and less adding to the landfill!

Only drawback: I ordered during a big rush and customs delays meant I waited a while for my delivery. Still worth it being able to support a small business.

The device looks great and is easier to use them the larger one I had before. I love the wood and stainless combo! It looks classy. I did buy a longer 100w USB cable but the one it came with is probably fine for most people.

Great product! Very responsive owner who is just trying to make a better device than all the other stuff on the market. Small business and good support.

Thrilled by this product. Very convenient and easy to fill. Great to look at and have on the counter. Cleans very thoroughly with minimal effort. Overall it’s just great!

Customer service was top notch keeping me informed after every inquiry to date.

The Ultrapod has exceeded my expectations so far. My retainer went from "might be time to replace" to "wait... did I replace that already?"

I also have a watch band that needed a once over and looks brand new again.

So far so good! it seems to be working well, ive just been using it for a few weeks but I am happy with it. :) Thank you for creating something not made of plastic junk!

Product is great and when I ran into some issues the customer service was great and a replacement part was sent out right away.

Great product! I had one of the original ultrapods and I loved it! Unfortunately, about a year in it stopped working. I reached out to the owner to see if there was a warranty. He got back to me right away, was courteous, and set me up with the new and improved model right away! It took a minute to get here, but so worth the wait! The new ultrapod is even better than the last! It’s quiet and super efficient! So glad I went with Idyll!

I love my little sonic cleaner. Customer service was above and beyond when I dropped part of the metal container, and the magnet inside came loose & started thunking around instead of working as it should. I messaged Idyll, and they immediately sent me a new one at no charge. My aligners are clean again!
