IEUM (이음) is the Korean word for a joining. A connection between two things. That is what we do. We are a private luxury travel concierge based between Seoul and New York, designing bespoke journeys through Korea for travellers from Europe, the United States, and Latin America. Every itinerary is built individually. There is no catalogue and no fixed package. We begin with a complimentary consultation, learn how you want to feel on this trip, and design around that. Our journeys fall into six worlds. Wellness: mountain temple stays, hot springs, and quiet jjimjilbang. Culture: hanbok at the palaces, artisan workshops, museums visited privately. Beauty: hanbang clinics, dermatology practices, and Seoul styling studios that rarely take international clients. Family: designed around children, dietary needs, and accessibility. Culinary: restaurants that do not accept online bookings, and royal cuisine cooking classes. Milestone: proposals, anniversaries, and celebrations. We work across the whole of Korea, not only Seoul. Jeju, Busan, Gyeongju, Sokcho, and the smaller places between them, in every season. Four things travel with you on every journey. A private driver. A personal translator. Expert cultural guides. And 24 hour concierge support for the length of your stay. Everything is delivered in English and Korean, with French and Spanish speaking guides arranged on request. A unique perspective on Korea

My girlfriend and I were planning our trip to Korea and wanted an experience that felt as authentic as possible.

It’s hard to filter through all the noise nowadays, but IEUM guided us effortlessly through our wishlist, suggested some great ideas we hadn’t considered (temple stay, in-season hiking routes, mountain retreat) and helped us quickly put together a wonderful itinerary. After noticing my girlfriend’s interest in skincare and spa treatments, she also helped her book an appointment.

What we appreciated most was how warm and flexible she was throughout. It always felt like our trip, tailored to what we actually liked rather than a pre-packaged itinerary. And since we stayed for almost three weeks and moved around quite a bit, she went the extra mile with tips and recommendations along the way.

Towards the end of our trip, we asked for help arranging an airport transfer. We had a lot of luggage, and taxis can be tricky with the language barrier and limited availability at off-hours. IEUM immediately found us an excellent driver who was as warm and funny as he was professional.

Overall, an amazing experience. I’d recommend IEUM to anyone feeling overwhelmed by all the options when planning a trip to Korea, looking for insider recommendations for beauty treatments, or simply wanting to discover places and experiences that are easy to miss.

You really do get a unique perspective on Korea.

I really wanted to book a traditional headspa experience

I really wanted to book a traditional head spa experience for myself and a friend, but I felt overwhelmed by all the options and was nervous about getting scammed. I wanted to relax, but a scalp consultation was also a priority. The owner walked me through several options and helped tailor the best fit for us. She handled the entire booking and gave us all the details beforehand, making it a completely seamless experience. We even received special treatment during our visit! I would happily recommend this service to anyone traveling to Korea looking to book wellness treatments!! It can be very overwhelming but this service takes all the stress away!

Best Korean experience curator ever

I wanted to go to Korea for my honeymoon but also because of their wellness. I contacted Ieum and the owner was very nice and knowledgeable. She took the time to listen to my wants and needs and she provided high level of attention. It is extremely well curated and I was happy and satisfied from start to finish. I enjoyed Korean traditional sound bath the most and all the rest of the experiences were highly elevated and special
