Love Illumicrate!! They put a lot of thought into their books and offer a wide range of different authors and genres. We've been subscribed for over a year and have been getting some of their special editions for longer. The few times we have received a damaged book, they have always replaced it and stand behind their products. Their book box items are also high quality and we adore the bookish items! Definitely recommend, 5 star book company!!!

I've had a wonderful experience with Illumicrate's customer service. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and resolved my issue with a damaged special edition book quickly and without any hassle. As a collector, I really appreciate their care for both their products and their subscribers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Illumicrate to other book lovers!

Excellent customer service!
I had made a mistake with my email address, meaning I couldn’t access my account or orders. Heather sorted it all for me in record time.

I had to change my address on a subscription box to a Uk address which I found challenging and would mean a partial refund and so
I emailed Illumicrate. A lady called Heather supported me and answered all of my questions quickly even if the answers seemed simple

Really great support and help from Rayna, had some issues signing up to my subscription and they allowed me to sign up and fixed the issue. I didn’t realise the customer service team was Mon-Fri so just bare that in mind when contacting them! Hopefully I love the first box 🙌

Rowan was so kind and helpful, really going above and beyond to help me activate my new subscription. I had been on a waitlist for a couple of months and was having issues subscribing when I was finally told I was able to! He was excellent and resolved all of my issues and got me subscribed. I cannot wait to get my first order!!

Ordered the Bridgerton reprint last year and received it June 16th.
Expectations about estimated Delivery were always really clear and well communicated, both on their website and through email. You even get to chance to change your address if you’ve moved since ordering which I think is amazing.
The books were packaged with so much care. Unfortunately I did receive one book that was damaged on the spine. Things happen so I reached out, filled out the form. Got an email the same day for some extra pictures which I send. Then a little over a week later I got notified they were gonna review the form, today they told me they were gonna send out a replacement.
They were always so nice and understanding. Even though this probably wasn’t even their doing, they want their customers to be happy and receive what they pay for. Other companies should take a look at the clear and open communication Illumicrate’s customer service provides. Whether it’s before, during or after ordering. They’re always extremely helpful.
On top of all of this they even told me to keep the damaged book instead of sending it back and to donate, gift or recycle how I see fit. So not just nice company but also a company with environmental awareness. I’ll be sure to donate it to the local little library near me so someone else can enjoy it as much as me.

Absolutely amazed! The customer service was excellent. The books arrived in perfect condition, carefully and individually packaged. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and very grateful. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Illumicrate. Their books are gorgeous, and I wish to congratulate their responsive customer service. I had a problem with my delivery, and they quickly found a satisfactory solution and resolved my issue.

I had an amazing experience with Illumicrate customer service, specifically Hannah. I reached out because I realized I might have accidentally subscribed twice and was worried I was going to keep getting duplicate shipments. Hannah responded quickly, looked into it right away, explained exactly what had happened, and immediately cancelled the duplicate subscription so I would not have any future double renewals.

She was kind, clear, helpful, and made the whole situation completely stress-free. What could have been a frustrating mistake on my end turned into a really positive customer service experience. She even gave me the option to return the duplicate book for a refund, which I appreciated.

Illumicrate already does an incredible job with their boxes and books, but service like this is what makes me feel even better about supporting them. Hannah was fantastic, and this was truly some of the best customer service I’ve received. Five stars all the way.

The customer service at Illumicrate is by far one of THE best I have ever experienced at any company!! You can really tell that they truly care and always trying to help to the best of their ability.
