On my Cummins 8.3L the computer module…
On my Cummins 8.3L the computer module is directly in front of the impeller housing. Using the tool is difficult at best.

We know it wasn’t easy, but we’re glad the ImpelPro still managed to get in there and pull the impeller. It’s sound like one of the tightest engine configurations we’ve seen, and most tools on the market wouldn’t have even had a shot.

Tool-less impeller puller?
The new and creative design and function of the impeller puller in phenomenal! They "built a new mouse trap!" With the use of a bearing, it almost makes pulling my impeller tool-less.

Good instructions & Videos. Easy to use!
We used the impelpro for the first time last month. It was the first time we have ever replaced our impeller by ourselves. The impelpro had good directions and the videos were very helpful. It was easy to use and worked great.
Coming from a rookie impeller installer, this is a great product!

First impressions ImpelPro
I called ImpelPro for general information about their pullers, and they were knowledgeable and forthcoming with info.
I purchased and received my large size puller quickly. Upon inspecting it it appears well made and durable. I will be doing numerous impeller changes and if any issues with product I will update reviews.
I really like how compact overall it is, and especially that any 9/16" socket or wrench can be used which for my first application in tight spaces was great.
The only challenge I had, and it's due to the tight space to work in without removing the water pump, was tightening the claws down by hand to extent needed for proper grab. But I finally got it tight enough after a few choice words, and out came the impeller!
