"A serious safety and hygiene hazard for international travelers. I came from Nepal to accompany my 16-year-old minor son for training. The drinking water filters were poorly maintained and open trash next to food caused an illness outbreak among multiple students. My son and I fell dangerously ill. At 11:00 PM during the emergency, management completely abandoned us and refused transport or medical aid. Other students had to rescue us. We evacuated early on May 21, paying heavy flight penalties.
FOR THE MANAGEMENT WHO MAY CLAIM THIS IS FAKE: This is an absolute factual account. My son was an official student holding Diploma Serial Number AYM/05/26/07, officially signed by your Director of Teaching on Dated 27-May-2026. Do not dare call this a fake review. Prospective students: ask them to verify this diploma number before you trust them with your life."

I enrolled in AYM's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course beginning 3rd May 2026. It was my first yoga course, and I'd done what I thought was thorough research - unfortunately, the 4.6 Google rating that guided my decision appears to be significantly inflated by what look like inauthentic reviews and now I can see they have disabled Google review section.

The reality on the ground was starkly different. The facility was unhygienic, with consistently foul-smelling bathrooms. More alarmingly, a fellow student shared a video in our batch WhatsApp group showing a live worm on his meal plate- a basic food safety failure that should concern any prospective student.

When students raised these concerns, the response from management was not remediation but dismissal and outright rudeness. The instructors, rather than addressing legitimate grievances, became hostile toward students voicing them.

I had to leave after three days due to a personal emergency, but remained in the student group long enough to witness a sustained stream of complaints about hygiene and staff conduct. When I added my own experience to the conversation, the group admin removed me without explanation- telling others I was "not a student" -which speaks volumes about how this institution handles accountability.

I would strongly urge anyone considering this program to look beyond the Google rating and seek out verified independent reviews before committing time and money.

If you are looking to learn yoga in Rishikesh, look no further. This is the best Yoga School in Rishikesh. I researched a lot before joining their yoga TTC. I got a lot of good reviews for this one that's when I decided to attend it. The teachers are so supportive and encouraging. It's a very vibrant place with people from across the world coming to learn and teach. The accommodation is clean, the food is good, and the location is perfect.

The best and one of the oldest school in rishikesh to do yoga teacher training course. I completed my 800 hours from here. All the teachers are very knowledgeable and passionate. The food is very tasty and property is really good and hygenic.
