Infinite will not protect you. Do not Buy

I bought a warranty plan with bumper to bumper coverage on a very high end MBZ automobile, fully paid for. When I needed repairs, they did not respond promptly for days. When they responded, they gave conflicting information. Their rep first said they only have to send someone to the shop to verify the repairs and they will cover the repairs. They didn't tell me they had been to the shop. Then, about 2 weeks later, they sent me an email that they needed service records for the car. I sent them my own records. Then they said they wanted records for specific dates. I provided the records. They came back saying they found repair information in the public domain, and they wanted those records. Those were records from the dealer that sold me the car which has nothing to do with me. The car has been serviced every time a check engine light comes up at MBZ dealerships which is documented in the same public information that they are saying they found information. I will not recommend that anyone buy their warranty. My car is still in the shop after 37 days. The car needs coil packs which has nothing to do with any prior maintenance. You spend hours on end trying to reach them. They all give conflicting information. The customer service has been very poor in my experience. They repeatedly ask for the same information that is already provided which they acknowledged receiving. They will not send you a written correspondence except generic email. They told me after I called them that they also need a bill of sale record but they have no way of putting that in writing because their correspondence is boilerplate. They rely on their arbitration clause which says you have to give them 60 days to resolve your claim. How many people can afford to wait for 60 days to have their car fixed? I had to hire a lawyer at my cost and we are still waiting for 60 days for us to even demand arbitration and I am incurring costs for not being able to use my car.

The worse warranty !!!!

I been waiting 1 year for get a Refund this is the worse company and service I bought a warranty a year ago for my Mercedes Benz CLA 250 I paid a few months and when I have to use this warranty they don't cover nothing I have a electrical problem and they only want to pay $250 jajaj is a joke ? that's nothing for a
Mercedes I Request my refund they ask me for a picture from my Milage I send it and I been waiting one year and I still waiting Don't buy this warranty you going to be surprise with this people they don't answer the phone several time waiting my car was a week on the dealer we have hard time waiting for a response and finally the surprise they don't cover almost nothing Raleigh NC

Infinite auto is a scam.

I purchased a 5 year 75,000 mile extended warranty from infinite auto. I sold my vehicle less than a year later and only used 30k miles of the warranty. I had no issues with my vehicle so I never needed to use the warranty. I called to cancel the warranty and get the pro rated refund. They said they would send me an email and I had to sign and return it. The email came two weeks later. I sent the signed paperwork back. They called me a week later and said I needed to send photos of the odometer. I sent the photos. They said the photos were to blurry. I also sent the odometer reading paperwork from the dealership I traded my vehicle in to. Clearly showed the reading. They accepted it and again said they would send another email in a few days and I would have to sign something and send it back. I still after two more months have not received the email. I called twice and waited on hold for over 45 minutes each time. They said they have it but haven’t had time to process it. It’s been 3 months and I haven’t received my refund yet. I would avoid using this company at all costs. Huge scam. They make it extremely difficult to get what’s owed to you. I doubt I will ever get the money they owe me. I plan on calling again and I’ll probably get the same email is coming speech. Should not take 3 months to get a refund.

BEWARE!!!.... SCAMS & RIP OFFS

BEWARE!!!! ... IT HAS THE WORSE service after the sale....
I BOUGHT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY ... WITH 1 PAYMENT $1700.... for 5yrs coverage... I traded that car in on a NEW car after 2 yrs... with 3yrs left on my unused policy... ( NEVER A CLAIM MADE ).... I REQUESTED an adjusted refund DEC 2020,....and ... after full filling all the refund requirements and documentations....all i keep getting is " RUN-AROUNDS "... with NO results or refund payment....they keep saying still in processing in administration....AND ... their attitudes are certainly arrogant, unfriendly and rude.... ( certainly a complete opposite from time of purchasing ... DON'T TRUST THEM.... ) ... I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO (BBB) . .. ALL SOCIAL MEDIA ALONG WITH MANY OTHER CUSTOMER COMPLAINTERS ( some have been waiting for refunds and monies owed them for over 2 yrs now and still haven't received results...

AND AFTER RESEARCHING ONLINE EXTENDED WARRANTIES... THE PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS, WARN PURCHASERS TO NEVER BUY EXTENDED WARRANTIES ... BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL EQUAL RIP-OFFS AND SCAMS.... to be sure and clearly read all the very fine prints.... when a claim is made ... they always refuse full payment of claim ... by saying it was pre-existing and therefore not covered.....and it's almost impossible to receive any refunds...from contracts or out of pocket claims....
THIS WAS AN EXPENSIVE, FOOLISH LESSON.... PLEASE ... BE VERY CAUTIOUS AND SKEPTICAL ABOUT PURCHASING EXTENDED WARRANTIES....

This isn't surprising, because extended warranties make a lot of money for those who sell them. ... “On average, you'll pay about $1,500 on an extended warranty, and the average repair is $180. I don't recommend buying extended warranties, ever. If you can't afford a $200 repair on a car, then you can't afford the car.”Dec 27, 2018

Liars, Scamers, and Horrible people!!! Stay AWAY

they took my money easy and fast. When I asked to cancel and get a refund on 4-1-20 because of the covid-19 panademic, Me and my family needed every penny to survive as we lost work. Till today they owe me $1,800 and all they can tell me my refund is PENDING since 4-1-20. Today is 1-20-21 Still NO REFUND, NO CALL, NO EMAIL NO SOrry No nothing. Stay AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY TRUST ME , unless you like trowing away money.

Worst ever!! I have been waiting on payment for a repair for almost a month and any time I call, they say no one is available to give me payment or it is still being processed. How long does it take to pay for a warranty repair?

BEWARE...THIS IS COMPANY IS A FRAUD...THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL..I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY REFUND FOR OVER 4 MONTHS AND KEEP GETTING THE SAME ANSWER THAT BILLING IS BEHIND WHEN THE DOCUMENT THAT I SIGNED CLEARLY SAID I WOULD GET MY REFUND WITH IN 12-14 BUSINESS DAYS AND EVERY TIME I CALL I GET THE SAME RESPONSE THAT THEY ARE ESCLATING THE ISSUE BUT NO ONE SEEMS TO RESPOND ON THEIR END...

This company is fraudulent

This company is fraudulent! My car sat at the shop for 5 months and they would never call the shop or me for updates. After threatening to take them to court they made up a reason why the would not fix a head gasket failure on the engine. They made up i did not change my oil after 4000 miles on my 2006 qx56 when the vehicle requires 7500 mile oil changes but oil change has nothing to do with head gasket failure.

IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD!!!! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER. Any claims that come in, regardless of whether you wait the 30 day or longer or not, it will be DENIED!!!!! I filed a claim and they claimed that the problems were pre-existing! IF I KNEW MY VEHICLE HAD PROBLEMS I WOULD OF NEVER BOUGHT IT!!!! BEFORE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT MAKE YOU READ SECTION "F" #12 -this is where they get you, CAUSING THE FAILURE EXISTED PRIOR TO OR AT TIME OF PURCHASE OF YOUR CONTRACT WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN. I have cancelled my policy and STILL waiting on my REFUND and every time i call they say supervisor will call me back and i have not heard from them in 4 months. BEWARE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!!!

I don't believe the positive reviews this company has received, I believe they are all fake. I tried to use my policy for a repair. The Chevy dealer was very patient in waiting on hold with this company many times. The company finally approved the repair but never paid for it. After weeks the dealer required that I pay which I did. Infinite Auto Protection told me they would send me a check to cover what I paid, but after several months of making me provide numerous copies of receipts and correspondence I have received nothing. I believe this company is a scam. I don't believe they ever pay for any repairs.

This company is nothing but an absolute fraud. their supposed 5 start reviews mention almost nothing of the claims process. I wonder about their authenticity because anyone can post a review, so its questionable as to whether they're artificially inflating their 5 start percentages. Especially, since you Google their offices and its in a residential building. Steer clear of this company!! i got the defrauded by them and i am making sure people dont get scammed by them and they will not refund my money which I paid in FULL and the claims were denied.
Any claims that come in, regardless of whether you wait the 30 day/1000 mile period or not, will be denied. I filed a claim after 6 months of holding the policy which I paid upfront for and they claimed that the problems were pre-existing! All of them! I told the agent, worry about handling the two main issues and that I would take care of the rest, and still they denied the claim outright. I told them, when you bring your car to a dealership, they find problems in your car that you didn't know you had, and perhaps, that you don't really need. In fact, every time you go to a dealer, they will "recommend" to repair issues that you can fix really yourself for a fraction of the cost or that perhaps are not affecting your vehicle. The vehicle isn't inspected when you get the policy and that works in their favor because they can deny any claims and label them as pre-existing. Its up to you to go through the hassle of taking them to court, file cases with the BBB, or take it a step further, which is filing your case with the Consumer Affairs Dept. of your state and in Michigan, where they are located. The Attorney General's office needs more people to voice their complaints to them so they can then take up the matter. I hope people do, as I did. Anyone interested in following up, here is the information for the Attorney General of Michigan, 517-335-7599. I also urge anyone defrauded by this "company" to follow up by filing cases with the Better Business Dept of Michigan and in your state, the office of Consumer affairs and the Attorney General of your state as well so that way they look into their fraudulent business practices and predatory tactics they use to take your money but not abide by their own contract! they claimed they would refund my money, minus the "months covered" and that still has not happened either. I told them they failed to abide by their own contract therefore i expect a full refund. that still has not happened either

Update

Update. Infinite denied my claim after the dealer wrote a cursory TEXT message (to me) saying it was a “pipe” failure. (Btw mechanically not possible) Infinite sent THEIR own adjusters to verify, BUT he reported all pipes and hoses in “good” condition no breaks or leaks, the cursory look from the dealer was incorrect. Gasket failure was the cause based on normal age and wear. I disputed their rejection through the BBB (which I advise everyone check to see how many complaints they have). Imagine their OWN adjuster confirmed their was NO pipe damage only a head gasket leak and guess what, gaskets ARE covered. They will do anything not to pay a claim. They asked for a week extension with the BBB as I’m sure they are trying desperately not pay this claim. I guess if you do have a claim just have the dealer take a very quick look and send a TEXT, they must consider that a normal business practice and acceptable. No need for THEIR own professional adjusters report. They will go to any length, even ignoring their own experts. Lucky I have everything in writing. Wish I could attach the report. Oh and once you do file a claim good luck getting through to pay your premium, they’ll hang up on you and there’s no way to pay it on the website, I imagine another technique to try and not pay a claim, hence their request for an extension with BBB. I’ll continue to post updates all the way through arbitration if it comes to that.

I am not such a fan of writing reviews but after the experience I had with infinite I had to go online and write one up. Extremely easy and effortlessly claims process everything was done in a mere few hours, me and my mechanic were shocked, Great company.

This company deservers ZERO stars

This company deservers ZERO stars. I think they are out there to take your money and deny your claim and pay nothing. I have two cars with extended warranty with Infinite Auto Protection, paid over $5000 a year and a half ago.(May 2019) They denied my first claim and gave me a run around. They'd sent a collision inspector (William: 909-210-0336) to verify the problem with my Porsche after 10 days. He even said that why would they send him because he does't do this kind of inspections and he had no clue. Repair shop ran a ECU report and printed it with all the issues, how many times they occurred etc etc. Computers don't lie, it is all document with error codes. You can physically see one of the the spoiler cylinder is leaking and when you push to button to manually operate it, it won't come up. Not working. Gas gage shows empty, zero gas most of the time even though tank is full. I ran out of gas twice because of it. It is documented via car's ECU ( the brain) But yet their inspector did not see any issues. I lost my car for two weeks and this company just swindled me over $5000 of my hard earned money
Do not fall into their trap like I did.
I will have my attorney deal with them

I had infinite for 2 years on my BMW…

I had infinite for 2 years on my BMW E400 and I ended up selling the car to a new owner. The good news was the policy followed along with the car which the new buyer loved and I actually upsell him because of that, very happy. Definetly..

Trying to cancel a policy and get a…

Trying to cancel a policy and get a refund has been a nightmare. I initiated proceedings to cancel in May 2020. It is now Nov 27th and I am yet to see any refund. Multiple phone calls and yes we will get back to you or there is a big backlog due to COVID. Next step has to be a lawyer to try and get my money back.

Notice all the great reviews about selling you the policy because it’s cheaper. Notice the reviews when it comes time to file a claim and customer service all negative. It’s been over a month I have reported them to the BBB and still no answers or out come on my claim. If in fact they decide to cover it I will post an update to be fair.

i just sold my Nissan Maxima and the warranty transferred to the new owner, Very easy process, I called Infinite with all of the new customers info and they switched it out within minutes. I hope to get another policy in the future once I purchase my new car.

i paid for my policy in full last year and I just got into a really bad crash so I had to cancel my policy but they gave me back what I did not use which was great, They also said they will give me a discount for my other car since I was a customer.

4 months after cancellation... Still No Refund

This company is not to be trusted. I canceled my contract per the terms of the service agreement and have complied with all of their requests. After 4 months of hearing the same excuses I still do not have my prorated refund. I would not recommend this company to do business with. They are very hard to get in touch with, hours on the phone on hold. Each time I get through they give the same excuse, Still in Line for Final Calculation of your refund. We will expedite it for you. Still no final calculation and no refund.
