Innovate Design Reviews 

My advice is to be very careful before you part with either £599 or £499 for the World Wide Search fee as you will inevitably be offered to do so in order to assess your products prospects of gaining protection.
This happened to me when I came forward with my idea recently. Whilst it’s true that they came back with lots of statistics and positive general information about how well my product could fare if it came to market. I made it clear that at 73 I would need to achieve a worthwhile patent in order to ensure that my idea was adequately protected within the marketplace as I would subsequently be seeking a licensing deal making a worthwhile Patent essential in my case. I was given to believe that my idea was potentially capable of doing so even though I was very dubious but considering my previously stated position the result was very disappointing and yet predictably negative. It’s all very well Innovate now claiming that prior art was suspected beforehand, I had discovered similarities in my own searches, but I am not an expert. The point that I mentioned my concerns to Thom was when he should have advised me that there was no prospect of me achieving a worthwhile patent, solid enough to withstand any reasonable challenge. This level of protection was essential in my case and given my circumstances. In my opinion that is where innovate have let me down by not advising me properly at the point where, if they were worth their salt they should have advised me not to continue. It’s pointless in smothering reality by peppering the matter with statistics of how well my product could fare in the market place. If it doesn’t seem plausible at the outset, don’t rely on Innovate to provide answers.

I have only just contacted Innovate about an idea l had but l didn't know how to take it forward. My daughter checked on-line and found Innovate so filled in my details. I promptly received an email and then, via post, an information pack which clearly explained my options. I have just submitted my idea by free post envelope, confident that my idea is protected and reliable advice will be given. And it has cost nothing!

Working with the team has been a great experience, I'd like to thank my innovation coaches Grace and Emma who have guided me through the process, both have been very professional and helpful.

I would also like to thank Sean and Hoo from the product design team, they turned my rough sketch on paper into a product that was exactly what I had hoped for. Now that the 'Concept Development' stage is complete, I can't wait to move forward to the next stages with my product - I'm very excited.

When I first contacted Innovate Design, I informed them that I was not based in the UK and that I would prefer a digital information pack, not physical, for my own convenience. This was done with zero issue or delay, and the information itself was well structured and clear.

My initial consultations were remote however when I had a chance to travel to their offices, I was immediately accommodated and had a productive in person meeting with Alexander and Peter. The team was professional, encouraging and at points allowed me to ramble on, in what I imagine was an approach to not letting any creative thoughts go unexplored.

Peter breathed life into my idea, and his excellent wireframe designs have transitioned my broad strokes concepts into a demonstrable click through that I can present, discuss, build on and flesh out. At every stage, I have been made to feel very much at the helm of my creation, supported by the crew at Innovate.

Let me be clear: this is a business, providing structured services, which come at various costs. You may find you only need one of these, you may find you need more. These are not angel investors, eagerly waiting to pay for partially formed ideas from enthusiastic netizens.

The company's clarity on service and pricing is as clear as a summer's day, and I have yet to find such transparency, expediency and affordability for top tier results as I have with Innovate.

Innovate Design are a Very unprofessional business. They lie and misrepresent. I believe the term is they are a cowboy company. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM. So Buyers Beware. I was even threatened by them not to cause any public deformation. But that is what this platform is for, name and shame is very appropriate for the £495 I consider they swindled from me.
