I have always applied for holiday insurance with Insureandgo, I like that it gives you 3 options of cover, and once payment is made and received and all questions have been answered the confirmation and documents are sent by email. And you can relax knowing your trip is covered. I have done a mix of 12 month cover as well as 1 trip insurance with no issues to date.

I tried to add in cover for A USA trip, the price was doubled and VHI travel insurance was about the same price. In the end I went with a trusted brand. The agent I spoke to was friendly but they didn’t understand where I was coming from or their screen wasn’t showing them the whole picture of my account.

You did not detect the Ryanair flight delay on the 6th of October no record of it the plane had to be replaced and a crew got nothing about showed up on the app about the full delay flight did not leave till after midnight on the 7th October

Stay away from Mawdy travel insurance! I sustained an injury aboard a Vidanta cruise and saw the ship doctor twice. I filed a 15 page claim (claim forms and supporting documents) and emailed them to the email address specified on the claim form. The response was that this email address is only for citizens of Ireland filing claims and he didn't know where I was to submit it as a U.S. citizen. I researched and emailed all 15 pages to an additional 7 email addresses with no response from any of them. I spent more on the purchase of this policy than the amount of the out of pocket medical bill. Had I known I was to bear the full amount of the bill, I would have skipped this useless insurance. I should have checked ratings before purchasing because I am now seeing plenty of dissatisfaction and low consumer ratings for Mawdy. Don't bother with this one.
