I booked a £200 treatment with virginia…
I booked a £200 treatment with virginia and, unfortunately, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had when booking a treatment.I have only actually had ONE appointment, yet my appointment was cancelled by her TWICE , both times on the actual day of my appointment. This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience. On both occasions, I had made arrangements in advance and had even paid for childcare for my baby specifically so I could attend my appointments. I therefore lost money on childcare TWICE because my appointments were cancelled at the last minute.
The second time, I was simply told that she had gone on holiday. Again, this was communicated on the day of my appointment.
At this point, after being cancelled on twice and having my time and money wasted, I decided that I no longer wanted to continue with the treatment and asked for a refund for the treatment I had not received.
I even tried to be more than reasonable and told her that she could keep half of my £200, despite the circumstances, because I simply wanted to resolve the situation without any more hassle. I worked hard for that money, and even after everything that happened, I was willing to walk away from £100 just to put the situation behind me.
Despite this, she is still refusing to refund me the money for treatment I have not received.
What is even more frustrating is that she is now claiming that I agreed to continue my treatment when she returned from holiday. I absolutely did not agree to this. I have all of the messages, screenshots and evidence saved on my phone showing exactly what was discussed. I have kept proof of the cancellations and our conversations, so I know exactly what was said.
I feel extremely disappointed by the way this has been handled. I was understanding when my appointments were cancelled, I rearranged my plans, paid for childcare twice, and even offered to let her keep £100 of my money despite only receiving one appointment. Yet I am still being refused a refund.
At this point, it is not even just about the money — it is the way I feel I have been treated throughout this situation and the fact that things are now being said about what I supposedly agreed to when I have screenshots proving otherwise.
I would strongly advise anyone considering booking to make sure they keep screenshots and written proof of all communication and appointments, because my experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful
