We hired Invista because it had alot of 5 star reviews when we were searching for a good roofing company. We're a disabled elderly couple with limited savings. Invista uses very high pressure sales tactics and bragged about their guaranteed warranty on all their work. We paid them half of $23,700 up front to start, which was stupid on our part. They were suppose to start in 3 to 5 days but didn't start for several months later. First red flag! They called about a month later to sell us on a supposedly superior product for a flat roof. Ours had TPO on it, for an additional $6,000. When the roofers finally came and did the roof, they said they were finished, Invista called the same day demanding the rest of the money. I told them we needed to do a walk through to check the roof and thats when they got ugly, telling me the warranty would cover any problem and that they would put a lien on our house and property if we didnt pay in full right then. So we paid. A total of $29,700. A week later we had a pretty heavy rain and our house leaked, worse than before we hired Invista.Because of rain the roofer kept postponing coming to look at it. When he finally came he took pictures, they had not replaced the coping cap on the perimeter wall of the roof. They removed the TPO and left it bare. He says that Invista never paid them for all their work and they submitted the order for a metal coping cap but never got it approved by Invista. This is my 3rd review and Invista has promised me each time, if I will remove the bad reviews they will be here in a few days to fix the issues. All lies, they are a terrible company and should be held accountable.
