Very in depth and informative information that helped us negotiate issues with our property purchase.

After waiting nearly a week for the survey to be booked. It was arranged for 5 weeks hence. This of course is of no use to any home buyer as the system is slow enough without help from a delayed Survey. I contacted them to complain but was simply told there was no nearer date available. This info should have been available before money changes hands, but, of course, no dates would be discussed until payment is made. I have subsequently gone elsewhere and the survey has been completed within 5 days and the report is on its way to me. I am still waiting for a refund from IQS and have sent reminder email without any notice of when the refund will be made. Unfortunately I should have paid by credit card, it would have been easier to get my refund. As a retired QS myself I can safely say this is a poor show.

A very thorough and detailed survey was done by this company. The report was well laid out and backed with extensive photos. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I would just like to thank Michael Wilkinson for his in depth report he carried out on a property we was hoping to buy.
I was expecting a few things to show up on inspection but not as many as were found by the surveyor. His knowledge was so expert in his findings he has saved us from making a disastrous house purchase which would have totalled thousands of pounds to rectify the property.
The whole process from start to finish was easy and the communication between us and IQS was responded to in good time.
I would have liked a written report as well as the detailed email report just to make it easier for myself to cross reference any details but fully aware of the need to minimise our carbon footprint.
