Very straight forward. In terms of claiming the money via revolut they provide you with steps which is great and it’s instant. There is a fee but considering the fact they sort it out it’s worth it .

Irish tax rebates have difficulty understanding HSF Family Cash plan statements in order to complete deductions. You will end up wasting time sending multiple emails back and forth.
Its easy and less time consuming to upload receipts and complete any deductions for receipts yourself than trying to explain what receipts belong to what family member from your HSF family plan statement.
I sent multiple emails back and forth. Thought my tax affairs were being looked after only to get an email from revenue requesting I file a tax return. Contacted Irish tax rebates to be told they were awaiting missing receipts. Explained how this had been sorted and gone through with a staff member back in July only to be told that i would need to send over missing receipts when I had previously explained in detail back in July how there are no missing receipts and explained how HSF statements included claims for my husband and children. I sent over all receipts in folders and provided HSF statements.
It was exhausting using this service and wasted a lot of time. Easier and faster to do your own tax return than trying to help them figure out HSF Cash plan statements.

Just to add. I reviewed my 2024 income tax return which was the only tax return that Irish tax rebates completed in July. I was shocked to find that no health expenses had been included on my income tax return even though I submitted medical receipts and these receipts had not been partially claimed for by my HSF plan which they were aware of. I paid the Irish tax rebates fee and am now left in a position whereby I have to edit my income tax return and resubmit myself.
I have zero confidence in this service.
I would be urging anyone who has used this service past and present to view their submitted income tax returns on revenue to ensure receipts sent to Irish tax rebates have actually been included on their rebate.

I wrote a review before on ITR on how fantastic the service and I have to praise them again for their wonderful service. I had to use them again and I cannot give them enough thanks and praise. I not only got a refund but they sorted out my tax credits for me as well and I didn’t have to lift a finger. Amazing people and well worth using them.
