Our group of six hired Burak for a three-day private tour of Istanbul and he exceeded every expectation. If you want a guide who is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely fun to be around, look no further!

Burak crafted a brilliant itinerary around our initial ideas and always adjusted the pace to match our energy. He surprised us with amazing, unplanned stops; one standout being a hotel rooftop overlooking the Galata Tower - a hidden spot for a morning coffee with spectacular views we would never have found on our own. Every lunch stop he picked for us was excellent and authentic. The absolute highlight was a stunning 2-hour private yacht trip on the Bosphorus, even doing a wine run prior! His English is perfect and he fitted right in and put up with all our group's jokes (I think he secretly enjoyed our humour but probably thought we were all quite mad).

We spent three days laughing, learning and exploring. Burak didn't just show us Istanbul; he made us feel like we were discovering the city with an old friend. We cannot recommend him highly enough!

Burak was very thorough from the moment I reached out to him via email to arrange an experience. I was a woman traveling by herself, with only one night in Istanbul as a layover on my flight home. So I wasn't sure how much was realistic to do/see. Burak gave me a clear overview of what we could accomplish in my short time there before I agreed to hire him. He incorporated my dietary needs (vegetarian) into his planning and solicited my feedback ahead of time, which guided him on which highlights he wanted to cover during my tour. I appreciated his thoughtfulness in outlining the plans in advance. He was a great host and very professional. He even got to the airport early to ensure we used our time to maximum efficiency! And I still got a full night's sleep, and he helped me get an upgrade on my room at no additional cost when he dropped me off at my hotel. This was door-to-door service, and I highly recommend Burak. Burak was a fantastic guide and professional throughout. We only had a few hours free but he designed a private tour for us with everything I asked for and more. Burak is very knowledgeable and a great host, so it was like exploring Istanbul with a friend. He also provided a door to door service which made getting around very easy. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Our tour was amazing. Not only was it a clever way to see the city (a scavenger hunt for Istanbul sights and landmarks), but our guides were very friendly and helpful. They even showed us where to get dinner afterwards and asked the restaurant staff to let us up to the roof to get a better view of Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque at night. I will definitely book with them again if I’m back in Istanbul

Burak was our guide while we stayed in Istanbul. It was a fantastic experience. He took is through Grand Bazaar and across Old Town. He made a great recommendation for dinner and waited until our cab showed up for us. He was deeply knowledgeable, providing historical context at all turns, and very friendly. The tour incorporated a game and we all had great fun. I highly recommend Burak and his company with zero reservations.
