Lovely 5 star hotel . Comfortable bed and room . Wonderful staff at reception and the restaurants. Didn't find the mirrors bar staff so nice though . And not very quick to serve you . Had to keep going to the bar as table service clearly wasn't their thing . Big shout out to Evi on reception a truly wonderful lady who helped us so much on our trip . She's a credit to the Ivi Mare . Pools are nice . Lovely sunbeds . Food is the best we've had all inclusive . Maid service fantastic . The only disappointing aspect of the hotel was the spa. Tiny and boring, no jet sprays. No jacuzzi bubbles and the 2 girls who work in there could do with some cheering up . If you weren't having a treatment they scowled at you lol . The spa is the only reason I may not return to the Ivi Mare as its so lacking in what we require . Otherwise a truly lovely hotel . Not quite beachfront either . You would have to climb down rock to get to it. So you have to walk around a bit . Lovely Harbour worth a visit around 45 min walk. The castle and tomb of the kings good also . Cheap entry . Entertainment a bus ride away for live music . We liked the pit stop pub and the Monaro Bar had a good Abba tribute . Avoid the owner Tony H nights though . . . Not very good I'm afraid. Paphos Lovely place . People are generally really nice to tourists . Makes a nice change 🙂

The Ivi Mare is a excellent hotel well worth the 5* rating. The staff make the holiday, very helpful and friendly. A big call out to the chefs, food was great quality, well cooked and full of flavour. It was that good that we didn't realise till we got home, that there wasn't chips on the menu on any day. We had a standard room, no sea view, and it was larger than the rooms we usually have. Plenty of wardrobe space. Fridge, kettle, coffee machine and the usual teas and coffees. Water was free when we're there and available by the pool as well. We don't do entertainment but we did see a couple of the entertainment and they were very good.
We will return and would recommend.

Conclusion of My Stay

After some reflection and considering the end of my stay, I would like to qualify my opinion and say that this hotel is ultimately a good choice. Management took my remarks into account, not as negative criticism, but as constructive feedback, and clearly viewed them as an opportunity to improve. They committed to correcting the shortcomings they became aware of, which I see as a sign of intelligence, wisdom, and professionalism.

The staff as a whole is very good in every respect. Of course, as in any organization, there may be a few individuals who are less friendly or less competent, but this remains the exception. Overall, the team is welcoming, helpful, and dedicated.

I would particularly like to highlight the quality of service provided by the Nepalese staff. Through their culture and natural sense of hospitality, they know how to deliver genuinely good service in all areas, whether as housekeeping staff or as waitresses. The Egyptian staff also deserves special mention: they are extremely kind, attentive, and helpful.

A special mention also goes to the chefs and kitchen staff, the people behind the food that was served. They were extremely kind and pleasant as well, which added greatly to the overall experience.

Finally, having interacted with many members of the staff, I found the hotel manager to be intelligent, understanding, and cordial. I would also like to give special thanks to Daria, the Polish receptionist, who was very kind, efficient, and genuinely friendly, as well as to her colleague Evy, who was equally pleasant and helpful.

In conclusion, I am satisfied with my stay and, surprisingly, it is quite possible that I will return.
