A big Scam.
They will let you write and make money without a problem. But they will wait for payday and suspend your account for stupid reasons like claiming you are working with clients to gain high rankings. They will never pay you the money you earned and their customer service will never help you in any way. You will keep on getting the same reply from their customer care.

A week ago I filled out the writer form. I don't know if I'm waiting. You review the application in 5 to 7 business days. The 5 days have already been met. Today the 7 days have been met. I don't know if you work on weekends. I want to know if I qualify to work in this platform

I ordered an article on this platform, and the result was disappointing. The piece was largely written with AI, which isn't what I paid for.

They constantly modify their terms of service, but they have never notified the customers. The terms of service I saw a few years ago stated that customers could request a refund at any time, but they did not issue a refund. Instead, they modified their own terms of service and refused to provide a refund to me.

Now, they have once again modified their terms of service, clearing customers' account balances. Moreover, this action of clearing customer account balances was not notified to the customers. The money in customers' accounts can be cleared at any time. Isn't this behavior considered fraudulent?

Clearing account balances without notifying customers is an illegal act.
Imposing unilaterally modified terms of service on customers without notifying them is also an illegal act.

This website is a fraudulent website. Everything they say is to deceive people.
If you haven't modified the terms of service regarding account balances, then why is my balance able to be stored for five years?
Please explain the reason for this.

I am extremely disappointed with iwriter company and would not recommend them to anyone. As a writer, I worked diligently for them, producing quality content and meeting all their requirements. However, after requesting payment for my work, I was repeatedly ignored and ultimately denied payment.

Even more frustrating is that they were unresponsive and unhelpful when I sought assistance from their customer support. The company doesn't value its writers, despite them being the backbone of its business.

Furthermore, iwriter company has been using some staff members to write positive reviews on Trustpilot, misleading potential clients. It's disheartening to see that the real writers suffer in the company while others are dishonest to promote their image.

Overall, my experience with iwriter company has been extremely negative. Their lack of respect for writers and refusal to pay for work completed is unacceptable. I urge others to avoid working with this company and to be cautious of any positive reviews on Trustpilot.

If you make good earnings from iwriter the support will close your account without warning.

I did not use any Vpn, and that is a lie, and you know that. This is just an excuse to redeem yourself from bad publicity. That is why your company rating is so low. You close writers' accounts when they make good earnings without explanations and withhold their payments. How I wish the entire management could be changed and have people who will work and understand writers' plight better

Caution to clients

Clients never trust a company that doesn't treat their writers with dignity they are full of ego and rudeness. Once a writer builds a good relationship with his client, they will just close the account out of fear that you might share any personal information with the client.

iWriter is a scam, they closed my account without any valid reason, and to make matters they never paid me my dues. Initially, it was a very good platform for writers but nowadays, it has turned out to be a scam. These people just wait for writers to make money and wait till payday to close the account and disappear with the writer's earnings. I would urge clients to avoid them like plague and use other platforms that treats writers fairly.

Review from a writer, not a client.

Overall I like Iwriter and can't really fault it in any serious manner. I've been writing on it for a few weeks now and have several completed jobs under my belt.

I will praise Iwriter as it offers good opportunities, especially for someone just starting out in freelancing. Payment is genuine and all jobs posted are legit. I do however have several minor queries that make me not love it to the extent I should:

Firstly, it's not great pay in the slightest. Especially when you first start out. You get on average less than 10 pounds for a lot of the stuff on there and when you're doing research and writing at least a thousand words per job, it probably averages out to about 3/4 pound per hour. There's not many jobs on there with any decent offers of pay. I understand this is because a lot of the people requesting content on there are from start up companies but that doesn't justify the fact that IWriter only give the actual writers 65% of the article price. I understand taking a small platform fee but this seems over the top.

Secondly, there's not a great deal of content on there. I've checked multiple times a day for about a week now and there's probably about 20-30 new job posts a day which isn't a lot considering how many writers are on there. A lot of the new jobs posted often seem to be repeats too. I've found on numerous occasions entire pages of listed jobs are just one job listed about 10 times which is tedious as you have to scroll through them all.

Next, it irritates me that you can't save a job to go back to. If you see a job you think you might be interested in, you can't save it for later and continue looking incase you find something more appealing or more worth while in terms of pay. You either have to accept the job now (and you can only take one job at a time, which I understand) or scroll back through pages of listed jobs to find it again.

Timescales to complete jobs in seem very limited to me. Most are between 4 and 18 hours I've found which although is a long time in terms of actually writing content, doesn't take into account that freelancers often want to come back to work later. I think it would work much better if time scales were set in terms of days rather than hours. For example a client would post requesting to have an article written by 5pm tomorrow or request for it to be completed within 4 days. I understand this system may because some writers may not be legit or take too long, which wastes time for the client, but there are ways to work around this instead of just giving you 12 hours before the job is posted on the website again for someone else to take up. For example you could send a snippet of your writing or a preview for what you would write for the job to the client and they can review and accept it if they like it. I also freelance on Upwork and this is the approach on there. It's a much better system.

The website also seems a bit dated and difficult to navigate for me.

Overall no huge flaws or problems with Iwriter. Customer service is always helpful and I appreciate that you'll receive pay for your work, as long as its of good quality, no matter what. I just think there's a lot left to be desired.

With all humility and honesty I had a terrible experience with iwriter, i applied to iwriter and my application went through very fast, i wrote my first article but when time to claim my payment came, i was asked to submit my Government ID and a photo of myself holding my ID, i did as requested but as soon as I submitted them my account was blocked and I did not get my pay. Later on I applied to be a writer four more times and every single application went through only to be rejected after submitting my photo and my ID/ Passport. At one point I received an email stating that my ID was not genuine and this really surprised me because both my ID and passport were issued by the Government of America . I felt discriminated because all my applications always changed from congratulatory to denial soon after sending my photo and ID. Being i woman of color and after my experience with iwriter, i can boldly say that there are some few individuals working for the company that are prejudice. For your information i have the email records between iwriter and I. One of the customer services representatives asked me to reapply but i shared with her my experience but never heard from her again.

1. There is a big chance you get a text with lots of spelling errors paying for the highest quality available in the platform. I've paid 24usd for 300 words text and the quality was terrible for this price, with actual spelling errors.
2. The delivery system they have is also awful. They deliver the text in the image (!sic) format. You can't scan the delivery with any spelling correction program, and you can't send it to anyone without looking stupid and unprofessional (if you decide to send it in an image format). Of course, you can accept the delivery and get in in a normal text format, but once accepted, your money is gone forever. So don't be lazy boy, carefully review the image with your own eyes for misspelling and everything, that's what you are paying for, after all (I imagine if you order like 3000 words text and you have to read it all also manually for spelling errors, I guess everyone has tons of free time these days.). And if you want to send the delivery to anyone prior to accepting it, well, too bad, because you can't. I don't recommend this service.

Update: they have refunded me after posting this review

This is an updated review of an earlier negative review that I had posted regarding my writer's application rejection at iWriter.

Leo from iWriter got in touch within a few hours following the negative review and we exchanged several emails on the issue. He explained that the rejection was an automated rejection based on my IP address at the point of application. He then offered to help me to re-apply and personally follow up on the re-application.

I consider Leo's response as customer service of the highest order for two reasons. First, he offered an honest and detailed explanation of the situation. Second, he was willing to personally take charge to rectify the situation. There is no other way to describe the willingness to go the extra mile other than customer service par excellence.

I am pleased to report that I have now experienced the same level of uncompromising customer service from iWriter, confirming many earlier reviews on Trustpilot about their exceptional customer service. I would like to commend Leo for winning me over despite the initial issues.

I strongly recommend iWriter and if you are still hesitating, you really shouldn't.

The perfect way to grow my blog. I've been using Writer for a few months now and I'm very pleased. The articles come back almost at 100% satisfactory. I simply load up the post on my blog, make a couple tiny edits, and publish. It's been my secret weapon to getting new posts up on my blog. Leo is great too, very helpful!

Signed up with iWriter in October 2019 and haven't looked back since! Reaching Elite+ level after 3 months was a help, but it has secured me a steady stream of repeat clients. This is an excellent place for new writers to gain experience, as well as cash. The team are fantastic; friendly, human and always helpful. There are several persistent technical problems, but, although frustrating, these don't stop me from getting on with the work. I always get paid on time (every Tuesday) with no issues. I have tried similar platforms but iWriter suits me the best.

I have been using iWriter for about 2 years and have zero complaints! The turnaround time for my orders is fast and I always find great writers to save for future orders. The LiveChat and Support team are always quick to respond when I have questions and they are very helpful and friendly.

I writer support are scammers. I worked for them, and they promised to send me my payments, but they haven't yet sent me the payments. I have contacted their support, but they are ignoring my emails. Please send me my money, and I will stop bothering you.
