The initial contact was good. I had to wait a while for the first visit and survey due to staff being on holiday. I was disappointed to discover that a day or two after I had placed my order the company released a higher discount offer than I had been given. After contacting the company I was given the higher discount but feel this should have been applied when the order was placed especially as the representative must have known the offer was about to be released.
The company were open about the length of time between placing the order and the doors being fitted which is several weeks. It would have been nice to receive regular updates on progress.
The delivery and fitting of the doors was faultless. The delivery driver was extremely polite and helpful. The fitters were exemplary and went out of their way to provide a quality product and service even taking away the old doors. All the packaging and rubbish was removed the same afternoon and I received a phone call to check this had happened.
It was several weeks before I was sent the paperwork about guarantees.
Overall the products are excellent but the administration needs improvement.

Designe, materials and workmanship very good. Deficiencies in coordination and management of subcontractor. Insufficient information supplied to glass subcontractor and no followup after contract award.

Gorgeous new front door, so much more secure, a lot warmer and more stylish than the old one. The team fitted it in a day and were polite and tidy.

The door is of exceptionally high quality (which you expect based on its high price), finished perfectly inside and out. The fitters were professional, friendly and explained how to best look after the door providing a small pot of touch up paint as well. The door fits perfectly, though after a few months we realised that a small drop of oil on the door jamb was needed to ensure smooth closure. Also, the keys seem to be getting a little tighter with time. Again, I suspect it requires a little oil, but we will check with Jack Brunsdon first. I would recommend the company without hesitation.

I am very pleased with the actual windows, good quality etc.

My disappointment was with the actual process and very poor communication by the Company. individuals were all very polite by there was no sense of a joined-up approach which was so frustrating. This extended to the poor approach to even dealing with my complaint.

Product looks fantastic but not durable enough for the price. We paid extra for Samuel Heath handle which was scratched to pieces within 5 months and replacement still scratched after a few months. Our outer porch door cost £200 less than a new handle and it's handle is wearing better. Door also indents and marks very easily. This is an internal front door so wear and tear is significantly reduced.
Certainly would not spend the money on this product if I was choosing again.

Lovely new front door fitted over a year ago. The fitters were very polite, knew what they were doing and completed the job very quickly and to a great standard. The door itself is fabulous and very well made. The only niggle I have is that the fitters told me that if i wanted more than the 3 copies of keys that were given to me, I'd have to phone JB but I could never get through to anyone, however, it wasn't a problem in the end as my local keycutters were able to copy them without issue.

A completely professional service from showroom to fitting as well as a superb product. I was kept informed every inch of the way and when it came to my 2 sets of balcony doors being fitted I could not fault the fitters. They were courteous,clean and thoroughly expert at their job. Everything ran according to schedule. I was delighted and would not hesitate to recommend this company and their products.

The whole experience from beginning to end was very professional. We had time to look at different designs and colours but also help when we needed it. .

The date of instalment was honoured and the work was carried out cleanly and efficiently- the rubbish was collected later in the day and we were extremely pleased with the result. We love our new front door and feel very safe when we are indoors and also know that it would take a lot to try to break in our home via the front door.

Nice people to deal with. Great looking product & superb quality. The cleanest and most efficient fitters I've come across for windows & doors. No hesitation in highly recommending.

Right throughout the process - from demonstration, sale to fitting, we found it a pleasant experience. Nothing was too much trouble and there was no pressure selling. They seemed genuinely interested in what we wanted. Oh - and the door looks fantastic!! We are constantly getting comments on it and have recommended Brunsdons to other people.

I was very happy with the quality of the door and the courteous team. My only 2 let downs were that

1. As the door was being closed once fitted, I noticed light coming through the edges of the keyhole. When I pointed it out, the fitter rang HO and rectified it by sealing it with silicone. Had I not noticed it myself it would be been a gap that drafts would have come through. Small but vital oversight!

2. After the installers left and before I settled the final payment, I found the door pull was off centre by a millimetre or so. It bothered me and I contacted the company and sent photos. It is not noticeable to most but it was to me! It took 6 weeks for this to be dealt with and once sorted we discovered that that difference was the cause of the turn key being stiff (we thought the turnkey was meant to be so hard to open!). We now have a perfect door. I would not have minded an apology for the oversights that were pretty fundamental!

Having said that I would recommend this company any time!

The second (back) door that we had fitted went in with no trouble at all, whereas the first (front) door proved to be a more difficult exercise. Eventually, both doors have been fitted well and are excellent examples of bespoke wooden doors.
