Stay Away it has all the makings of a scam!
I was on the fence for Jacket Maker, but after seeing a small influencer promote the material, I decided to give it a try. On the website, I went out of my way to choose a jacket that was in stock because a lot of the horrible experiences reported were related to custom-made-to-order jackets. Well, a week later, I got an email stating the jacket I ordered was made to order and that they were delayed due to a large influx of orders. After a month, I emailed them, and no initial reply until I contacted my credit card company about the suspected fraud for them to launch an investigation. The next day, they refunded $20 for the delay and said they needed more time. Two weeks later, without any shipping confirmation email, I received a package from UPS stating that we needed to pay $48 import fees since the package was shipped directly from Pakistan, then Dubai, to the US. When I checked their website, it said Hayward, CA. Then when I clicked the contact us link on the email I received, and it pointed me to a .co.nz website. I contacted them, and they said they would reimburse the import fee but refused to refund the original payment method; instead, they asked me to send a credit card number for reimbursement. I still have not received any reimbursement. Beware, they have all the makings of a drop-ship company with no presence in the US. Influencers should do better to vet the merchants they offer to review. I highly recommend you avoid this company at all costs; don't be impressed by any advertising showcased directly on their website.
