Seems more like an identity theft scam
Seems more like an identity theft scam. Wouldn't process my order unless I sent them photo ID, this was after I already jumped through two of their verification hoops, both times they stated I would be verified although they then kept requesting more and more information. Very shady practices. Who requests such invasive identity verification to purchase a simple gift card, when you have a legitimate PayPal account. Leave the verification to PayPal instead.

Hi Alan, we truly apologize for the inconvenience and truly understand how frustrated you are. However, Japan Code Supply ("JCS Global Ltd") is an online store dedicated to selling Japanese gift cards and we do not sell snowblowers. We highly recommend you to contact the support team on the mentioned website.
Legitimate service, but not for people who need a quick turnaround, and especially not for heavy spenders
Do not bother with this service if you intend to "whale" a Japanese iOS app using gift cards. The response time for my first card purchases was unacceptable (~18+ hours from submission to code) but the repeated demands for identity verification seemed reasonable considering the potential for credit card fraud. Despite claims from JCS and other reviewers I continued to see unacceptable delays on orders culminating in JCS silently cancelling orders after I had spent "only" USD $500. I have switched to a prominent competitor and my experience has been considerably better.

Horrible customer service
I should have learned from my first experience. If everything goes smooth it’s nice. If there’s a problem, good luck.
