There are no equipment cleaning facilities.
The entry system only allows you to enter once per day which is outrageous.

If you come back a second time in the same day, please press the green buzzer button near the gates and someone will let you in. The app does only grant entry once per day, but you're welcome to come back as many times as you like, we'll just need to let you in. 👍

Great gym
Great gym with good bits of equipment (including a sauna).
Only flaw is that the free weights section is usually quite messy and struggle to find the correct weight as people just put their weights anywhere

A Great Facility Undermined by Poor Cleanliness
I recently visited JD Gyms Glasgow South. While the facility offers great equipment and a spacious layout, the cleanliness standards leave much to be desired.
During my visit, the washrooms were notably dirty, with visible grime and a lack of proper maintenance. It's disheartening to see such a modern gym neglect basic hygiene. Additionally, many of the gym machines and equipment were covered in dust and dirt, making them feel unhygienic to use.
While the gym has potential, its poor cleanliness detracts from the overall experience. I hope they address this issue soon, as it would significantly improve an otherwise well-equipped facility.

Generally this is a great place
Generally this is a great place. Lots of equipment that’s in good condition.
Plenty treadmills, cross trainers and rowers are available, plus there is an entire spin class set up upstairs to do your cardio. In addition there is a big studio space kitted out with mats, weights, power bags and more bikes that’s generally empty when not used for classes.
My one point of contention are the showers. Given the size of the place, six cubicles of which one is the cold shower for the sauna is frankly measly. One of them seems to regularly be out of order and the water pressure leaves a lot to be desired…

Great quality gym
Great quality gym, excellent value for money. Good selection of cardio and resistance training machines, as well as functional, free weights, spin bikes, and workout studio.
Great having a sauna afterwards also.
