We had a great company team building event day at Jenius Social for their Mystery Box Challenge.
From start to finish Jennifer and her team were great at communicating and engaging with our business. The event couldn't have gone better and I thank Jenius for being so collaborative with our business.
The challenge itself was a huge success especially as we are a food import company and was able to incorporate some of our products to the event! The teams had the perfect balance between collaboration, creativity and light hearted competition. This is a great team building activity for any company wanting to improve there cross department collaboration and have some fun at the same time.

We went as a group of 22 for the mystery box challenge and had a great time. It was very competitive and fun. We had a huge selection of ingredients to work with which was great, and nobody went hungry. The team at Jenius social are so much fun! Everyone really enjoyed their day, so much so that we would have stayed longer if we could. Thanks so much for a great team building event.

Everything was excellent! The booking process was straightforward and Jennifer (owner) was quick to answer queries and accommodate our needs. The event itself was well-organised and, most importantly, so much fun! Everyone enjoyed themselves, and we all agreed we would be happy to participate in another event at Jenius Social in the future. We had a Christmas party for around 20 staff. The mystery box challenge we did was great fun; everyone enjoyed it, no matter what their experience level was. Recommended for work events, as the team-building element was one to remember.

The booking process was straightforward and our email communication was always promptly dealt with and helpful. On the day we all had a great time. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere made it a really enjoyable experience, not to mention all the handy cooking tips. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

We had a fantastic time at this cooking class. It was a brilliant team-building activity and so much fun from start to finish. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly supportive throughout. A truly fabulous added touch was the opportunity to donate our bakes to a homeless charity, which made the experience even more meaningful. Highly recommended for teams looking for something enjoyable with a positive impact.

Incredibly well organised and great fun for everyone. 30 of us participated in the Mystery Box challenge to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Jennifer ran the event so smoothly and made the event so so special! I would recommend Jennifer and Jenius Social to anyone.

Jennifer was very helpful and responsive during the coordination of our team day at Jenius Social. She explained the packages available well and created an experience that included everything we wanted.
The first half of the day was spent using their space for a meeting and the afternoon kicked off with a Prosecco reception and a really fun couple of hours cooking, learning, and having fun. The three facilitators were amazing, they were engaging and enthusiastic, matched our team's energy and elevated the experience.
I would thoroughly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience with the Mystery Box Cooking Challenge — it was fun, engaging, and really well put together. The hosts were excellent, striking the right balance between guiding us and letting the competition element shine. Everyone genuinely had a great time, and I’d absolutely recommend it to other teams looking for a collaborative and entertaining activity.

Communication throughout the planning process was smooth and reliable. Liaising with Jennifer, the company’s founder, was a real pleasure — she was highly responsive and incredibly flexible, which made organising the event straightforward and stress-free.

Overall, a brilliant experience. 5 out of 5!

We all had such a great time doing the mystery box challenge at Jenius Social. From the minute we walked in, Holly made us feel comfortable and helped me with the organisation, while Jacqui and Tom were on hand to both support and bring the energy. We had such a wonderful evening, with some of the team saying they "hadn't belly laughed like that in a long time" and that they would "look back at the evening and smile for a long time to come". In summary, we had an absolute blast! Thanks again to you and your team for making it possible.

This was one of the best team builds i have ever been to. From start to finish Jenius social were superb. Great communication from the director Jennifer, who ensured that our company would have a great team build. The staff at Jenius were so helpful, engaging and honestly superb, felt like they were also part of the team build and allowed us to really enjoy the day.

We took our guests on a Mystery tour (no-one knew what we doing) to Jenius Social for a team building evening. To carry on the Mystery theme we chose to do the Mystery box challenge.
The team we super welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic. The evening went down a treat! It was fun, competitive and entertaining. A massive thanks to Jennifer, Karen, Holly, Dan and Idriss for a brilliant evening.
I would highly recommend this for great team day out.

Yesterday, we had our team building event at Jenius Social. The customer service was excellent from the beginning to the end. We received a lot of information about different challenges we could choose. We decided to go for a Mystery box challenge, which was a fantastic choice for a team building activity. The staff kept us on time as we were given one hour to cook and plate it up. They were kind and helpful, so the event went very well and it was a lot of fun. Thank you Jennifer and team for making our work event special!

Team Away Day
Jennifer was a fantastic host from the start, my first initial call to understand how the afternoon will plan to the day of the event. Our team away consist on 13 people and we all had a fantastic time- we went for Japanese class and I only have good things to say and it was delicious. Thank you

We had a fantastic team day experience filled with fun and laughter. The Genius Social team were excellent hosts and took great care of us. A big thank you to Jennifer for all her help in ensuring we had a lovely evening.

This was our first visit to Jenius Social & was for a work summer party.

We did the Mystery Box challenge and had a fantastic time, Jennifer and the team were excellent hosts and we were very well catered for and the activity was perfect for a work event – great fun, good for team building and most importantly (surprisingly to me) not destructive of working relationships!! Everyone had great fun and I’m still receiving positive messages from the team.

The Jenius team were really helpful, keeping us plied with drinks, answering questions and giving culinary advice and taking photos of the event meaning we could focus on really getting stuck in.

Jenius are a really safe bet for a great event and you should absolutely give their cooking events a go, this is definitely going in the roster for future socials!

This was our 2nd visit to Jenius Social.
I arrange monthly team building socials for my company FXC Intelligence.
The Mystery Box Challenge that we took part in mid 2023 proved so successful, it was a no brainer to return to try out the Bake Off Challenge - with a cocktail making bonus (delicious Margaritas) - we were not disappointed!
Jennifer and her amazing Team made sure nothing was repeated from our first experience. The challenges and delicious bakes (brownies, oaty cookies and cupcakes) were well thought out and so much fun to make in our teams - minus the recipe, it felt a bit like the technical challenge on GBBO!
Everyone was catered for and we had the best evening.
Prosecco, wine, soft drinks plus our cocktails/mocktail went down nicely too - so my only tip for the Bake Off event is to not arrive on an empty stomach :-) I also loved the fact that once you had eaten as much of the bakes as you fancied, you had the option to either take some home in a box provided - or Jennifer donates any unwanted to a local homeless charity. You also don't have to worry about capturing the moment yourself as the Team take photos for you and provide them all to you for free after your event.
I can't recommend Jenius Social enough and am hoping to be back in 2025 for yet another 'Jenius team building experience' - I know what good hands I am in with this company, it's such a fun experience and just a few stops from Kings Cross, a perfect central London location too.
I'd happily book and go back with family members and friends for birthday celebrations etc. too.

Brilliant fun. Well organised and thought out. The staff were excellent and had a great sense of humour. We had a lovely morning cooking up some creative masterpieces!!

We were a big group of almost 60 and everyone had a wonderful time. Colleagues said they hadn't laughed so much for a long time and the chefs were what made the experience worth 5 stars. Great venue and wonderful activity for a company away day!

Jenius Social hosted our company christmas team day. Jennifer was so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process, from the day we first got in touch and all the way until post event when she shared all the photos and recipes from the day!
We did the street food cooking challenge and all the food we made, chefs and drinks to accompany it were great! Highly recommend
