The worsy amd most disgusting and pathetic plane i would suggest to walk or find another plane like virgin Jet star especially this flight the cabin crew id rude and treat white folks different from coloured or black folks they purposely skip the meal i pad for and ignore service bit when another person of European colur also white asks for something ita brought in a heart beat

“Nice flight, 40 min slightly delayed.”

Was a nice flight from Ho Chi Minh to Tuy Hoa.

This flight got slightly delayed about 40 minutes. Vietnam Airlines on the same route it’s a little better but to fly with Jetstar Pacific Airlines was the first time and it was also nice!

Damaged lugage

The flight was delayed, which can happen but seems a common occurence with Jetstar. On top of that, due to sheer negligence by baggage handlers, we got our luggage back with a gappinghole in it. Upon reporting we received a compensation of 200k VND, equal to 8 US dollar. Far from enough to get our bag fixed or let alone get a new one (sturdy Samsonite which has served us for quite some time withour fault, apart from regular wear and tear). Upon reaching out to them via customer service they stopped replying after the 2nd message.

Generally I rave about Jetstar but... avoid international tickets on local routes

Generally I rave about Jetstar. I use them mostly.
Used them for a cheap Gold Coast to Sydney recently. ($55).. took a whole day !!

Jetstar in their wisdom put me on an international flight at the Gold Coast and landed at Sydney international too.
Apart from a wheel replacement ( 2 1/2 hour delay after getting to local airport 3 hours dearly we sat for another 40 minutes I don’t know why... same in Sydney, then through 3 checkpoints with thousands of people for a local bloody flight.

AVOID ANY TICKETTING THROUGH Jetstar on INTERNATIONAL TERMINALS FOR LOCAL
FLIGHTS.
Is False economy wasted a whole day. 9.15 HOURS FOR A LOCAL TRIP !! Driving the 900 ks would have been much easier/ faster

Then I had another nearly 3 hours on the train to the Mountains. Hardly life threatening just exhausting. Cheers

USD 70+ for checkin luggage

Thanks for ripping me off at Bali airport letting me pay 70+ USD for a checkin luggage. With other budget airlines i’d pay 30-40 usd at the sales desk at the airport. My flight ticket was about 120 usd...

inconvenient Airline

It is the worst airline I have flown with!!! Flew from Ho chin minh City to phu quoc and the plane was delayed 2 hours and 55 minutes, just 5 min before the time it takes to get a refund of some of the ticket. The same happens as I fly from Phu Qouc to Da Nang with landing in Ho Chi Minh City. They did nothing and did not provide some benefits for all the waiting time. lousy airline. The only thing good is that the pilot fly good.

Stay away from them!

This is probably the worst airline company i've ever traveled with and I travel a lot. We should have been with our airplane at 09:00 and went to the airport at 07:00. When we went to the check-in desk, we were told that our plane flew at 07:00, so we were too late. We did not get any information! Because they only informe people who lives in Vietnam!!!

Probably the worst airline I have ever …

Probably the worst airline I have ever flown on. They cancelled our connecting flight and moved us to a flight 5 hours later (which apparently they often do when they don't have enough passengers on their earlier flight). We complained about having a 1 hour layover changed to a 5 hour layover and asked for some compensation. After a 30 min discussion they reluctantly agreed. When we went to board our flight they took our tickets and ripped them up and said that we had cancelled our flight and could no longer fly and would throw our baggage off the flight. NEVER FLY WITH JETSTAR. It is the worst customer experience I have had on an airline and I have travelled with many airlines across most continents.

My seat got changed to a different date

Took a domestic flight in vietnam. The flight time got changed multiple times which sort of goes with the territory but then I got moved to a different day, as if I had no onward bookings and didnt give a hoot what day I arrived. My original flight still went ahead so i presume they just sold my seat to someone else and kicked me off. No discussion. Such arrogance and disrespect. I ended up on one of their planes and it was OK to be fair but my plans were ruined. If you expect to get to your destination on a certain day I would pay more to avoid them. Vietjet were much more reliable by the way.

Worst customer service ever!

I have Booked and paid for 2 tickets - Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc - Ho Chi Minh. Money on my card was removed. I have not received any confirmation on my mail. When my husband and I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City airport, stuff jetstar told that our tickets for other dates. To fly we need to pay extra money today. Although I have already paid for everything. After much discussion, we bought new tickets because were very tired by flight from Moscow to Ho Chi Minh. With return tickets the same thing happened. We were going to fly from Phu Quoc to Ho Chi Minh 9 of January at 8:30 am. Employees jetpacific said that our flight Phu Quoc - Ho Chi Minh City is tomorrow 10 of January at 13 pm. Although we already had paid for the ticket on January 9 Ho Chi Minh City to Moscow!!! We arrived on January 10 and we were told to pay more again! Who changed our tickets?!!! So we paid the first $ 270 for the tickets. And already in the airport for the new tickets for other dates another 200 dollars.470 $ for Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc - Ho Chi Minh !!! ????

I want the company discover the problem that happened and returned me the money.

Worst customer service ever!

I booked my flight from HCMC to Nha Trang (Vietnam) three weeks ago. We were supposed to fly to Nha Trang this Saturday at 16:55. The reason that it is so late in the afternoon is that my boyfriend is arriving to HCMC, where I currently live, late in the evening the day before we're going to Nha Trang.

I've just received an email from JetStar saying that my flight has been changed - BOTH WAYS! Now they want me to go at 6:55AM Saturday morning and to go back Tuesday morning at 3:40AM......... My flight back to HCMC was supposed to be 18:40PM Tuesday so we could have the entire day in Nha Trang before going back. I got some really BAD alternatives which are either the day before or after we go or late in the evening!

After waiting 10 minutes to get a respond from JetStar callcentre in HCMC I got through, spoke to two different women and none of them could help me - they could neither give me a discount or help me find another alternative!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced......

don't waste your time, money or effort- ruined my holiday

I am on holiday and got an email Budgetair saying that my flight time had changed 7 hours earlier than planned. I called them to say that I wouldn't be able to make it as I would be on a connecting flight. They said they would deal with it.
A few hours later I get an email saying they have fixed the problem- and they had put me on the same flight as was stated in the original email.
I emailed them to say that they hadn't changed my flight at all and then they replied: we can try get you a partial refund.

I am from London. I flew to Hong kong and then for a few hundred pounds thought going to Vietnam would be amazing. I have now had to spend several hundreds of pounds on other flights and expensive accommodation and airport transfers from hanoi, Danang and Hong Kong just to get home and I feel it is so unfair because I didn't do anything wrong. Budgetair only want to 'try' and get me a partial refund? I think its absurd. I have now spent hundreds of pounds and spent hours ON my holiday having to arrange all this when it was arranged weeks before i left.
For the extra money I would go with Vietnamairlines who don't mess people around and have great customer service.

Would Never Use Again

We booked a 10.35am flight from Ho Chi Minh City to arrive at Hue by midday, giving us time to sightsee before leaving the following morning on a pre booked tour.
The flight was delayed by email until 2pm with NO explanation, this was frustrating and when we arrived at checkin you can imagine our further frustration of being told the flight was now 4pm! no notification! No explanation. We finally received an email once at the airport stating the new time.
This is totally out of order!
This is disgusting, customer service staff at the airport did not want to help or even try to change our flight to a different airline, they were too busy talking amongst themselves.
In the departure lounge there was no information given, the departure board just stated 14:00 and never changed, all other flights has departure times even if delayed, Jetstar didn’t. Other delayed flights had announcements explaining delays, telling passengers to go to their desk for help, Jetstar, nothing!
No food, no drink offered and no staff to talk to, though if they were as helpful as the customer service staff then would be pointless anyway.
We lost all the time planned in Hue and had to alter our tour the following day.
We took a taxi to Hue from the airport due to the lack of time thanks to Jetstar, I expect this cost reimbursed on top of compensation as our time in Hue was ruined.
I will await the outcome before posting online reviews on all travels site regarding this farce.

You are better off

First of all, I must admit, the fault is mine. I should never have booked a flight with this sorry excuse for an airline.
The customer service is ridiculous and a complete waste of time. You might as well spend your time doing something useful. Jetstar pacific changed the schedule for my flight. However they did not inform me about the change of departure times. I had to send an email to the company and ask about it. Only then was I advised about the change. And also that Jetstar Pacific will advise their customer "in a timely manner" as they put it in an email to me. Forgive me. But I think they should get their act together and inform the customers as soon as they change the schedule. Which they didn't! Several emails to their customer "care" email address revealed only a complete lack of respect for the customer. Nothing else.
During the booking, I booked bulkhead seats, row number 1, so we could get out fast. To be fair the price is pretty low for this service. If you actually get what you pay for, of course! In this case it was, like the flight, a waste of money. At check in, two travelers were advised they were too old to sit at a bulk head seat. NOTE, there is NOT written any age restriction in the T&C's as of today. So a rip off by Jetstar. Another option is the gate agent wanted some friends to have seats with generous leg room.
As for the flight. We boarded a pretty dirty plane by bus. Not a problem. However I do not appreciate finding garbage in the seat from the previous flight. The aircraft was showing its age, and seating was very very very very tight. It wouldn't have been, had we gotten the seats we had paid for!
Departure on time, staff seemed indifferent. But not rude. I think they were just busy. During the flight, a guy not wearing any kind of uniform was doing galley work. I find it quite inappropriate that people not at work is doing work. It gives a wrong impression. But hey.. I am not going to fly this airline again!
Just to sum it up. STAY AWAY!!!! this airline just might screw up your travel plans, and forget about them informing you. Forget even more about them assuming the slightest responsibility for their incompetencies. Do yourself a big favor. Book VN. Price might be a tad bit higher, but from my own experience, they will actually help you in case of schedule change. They are actually helpful.
