Jhoots Pharmacy Reviews 

This pharmacy chain is a complete joke, people can’t get their controlled medication or psychiatric medication after promising people come in tomorrow/ tomorrow/ tomorrow. This chain will definitely go under , in £5 million pounds of debt so my advice is find somewhere else before all the places are gone.

Terrible service, order a regular prescription this will take 8 days, go into collect it, it's not ready or its not complete. The lady who is usually at the desk, is rude, no hello, please or thankyou. Unfortunately the lady does not understand English very well which makes for a very frustrating situation for both of us. I moved my prescription to Mayberrys years ago, great service and Mayberrys text you when your prescription is ready to collect. So glad my husband has seen sense and now uses Mayberrys too. Jhoots are poorly managed and this clearly shows

I can’t see why people complain? I use the one on the Tettenhall Road and they’re great. Always helpful and always have stock in.

If I could give none starts I would do it. I am a locum pharmacist who did some shifts at Jhoots Truro Health Park between May and July and I haven't been paid and I'm afraid I will never be.
Multiple excuses, nobody replies the phone/email, they are lying.....it's a shame this company is still open. I do not understand why the GPhC allows this company is playing with Pharmacists, staff and mainly with patients.
I wasted time working there what I could work in another pharmacy and really help people .
If I want to try to have my payment it will be waste of money as well.
Jhoots Pharmacy should be closed now!!!

Shoots took over the pharmacy at our GP practice in Sidmouth when Lloyds pulled out about a year ago. It has been a complete shambles- low stocks of OTC stuff, delays on prescription meds, and latterly being closed because of no pharmacist. Have swapped our prescriptions to Boots.

Fishponds, Bristol branch closed without notice for 2 consecutive days due to having no pharmacist available. Medications not available not only for me but for others complaining at the reception of the adjacent health centre. There appears to be little accountability into poor practice by Jhoots leaving people going without medicines or having to scour the pharmacy outlets of Bristol for their medicines. Get your act together Jhoots

The staff are so very helpful. Jhoots Oakengates (and Birmingham) really are the best team of pharmacies. Always, always so professional, courteous and helpful. They strive to get your meds ready and delivered far more quickly and efficiently than others in the area (and delivery is free and always on time). Their service to me and others is appreciated more than I can articulate! An ace team - thank you.

MItcham branch, Don't even get a terrible service, there is no service at all. Branch is without a pharmacist may aswell close.

Disgraceful company. Closes their branch pharmacy often without even a sign displayed to notify customers why. Zero stock whatsoever of even basic drugs such as statins. Unable to give those with pending prescriptions any idea of if or when they may have stock. Even the over the counter section shelves are half empty- deserves to be closed down as a whole as unable to provide any sort of decent service in the community.

Joots brought Truro Boots Pharmacy, No medicine deliveries, staff not paid, I am a Criminal and Commercial Lawyer. A Joots file has been opened and the clock is ticking. I have instructed my firm's PI to start investigating, I will commence litigation and bring the Partners of Joots to TRIAL. There is something not quite right here, I smell Criminal Activity.... Time Will Be Served, Joots are robbing the sick people of a medicine supply service

Just had THE MOST BRILLIANT service from Jhoots Pharmacy, Bath. Thank you, ladies. Tricky with lack of stock but we got there! Thank you 👏

If i could give this 0 stars i would! Without pharmacist for 10 weeks. Pharmacists leave because this company doesn't pay them. colleagues are left here working without legally being allowed to do anything apart from asking customers to move to a different pharmacy and return scripts. They come here to work daily just to get abuse from certain members of the public even though everything here is out of their control and not being allowed to do anything apart from being closed the majority of the time.

Also DO NOT work for this company if you want to be paid on time!!! False promises from HR and everyone who works higher up in this company!!

My local Jhoots chemist did not have supplies of one medicine, so I had to go to Tesco.
For another medication Jhoots didn’t have sufficient tablets, gave me an IOU for 45 tablets, 14 days later they didn’t have a chemist, come back tomorrow. Next day, Jhoots said that they had not received them from suppliers, so much for their IOU, contact your GP to get another prescription and go to another chemist.
I will not be going to Jhoots in future.

Not sure what the problem is but the chemist is constantly closing as no pharmacist available.
Despite waiting a couple of weeks for a prescription there will still be half of it missing.

Do not work for this company! Absolutely appalling management, and staff cannot do a thing about prescriptions as they don't pay their locum pharmacists, so for weeks and weeks, there is no pharmacist. And the staff always worry if their pay is going to be partly missing or late by days!
Head office do not care about their employees or their patients. Can't phone them, so we always have to email, which then gets ignored.
Please take your business elsewhere, this joke that they call a pharmacy doesn't deserve it.

nothing on the shelves and when i asked for something the lady handed me something that was out of date.
Women behind the counter argued with me stating i was simply lying about the medication i take.

Rose Green, Bognor Regis. Yet again they send a text saying that they can’t fulfill my prescription as they don’t have a pharmacist available. Empty shelves and no service at all at weekends. I rue the day that this Lloyds Pharmacy was sold to this shower.

Sidmouth branch Sedamunda Road. If I could give it one star then I would. Constantly closed as short notice and very often medication not in stock even if requested on repeat two weeks in advance. Short staffed last week so closed over lunchtime. Tried three times to pick up my prescription without success. On thurs went in at two expecting it to be open, but they had changed the sign up on the door to say they now wouldn’t be open until three. So, went back at 4pm only to find the queue was way out of the door and people had been waiting for an hour. Management is useless. They could have a separate queue for those just picking up prescriptions requested way in advance. Absolutely useless…they will be losing lots of business due to what happened last week and deservedly so. I have chosen to switch my default pharmacy and suggest others do the same😭

Wouldn’t bother going there!! They have NOTHING and they’ll tell you to go to another pharmacy anyway. Empty shelves. And don’t get me started on the attitude of the staff!! Let alone the dress code!! Girl was in a crop top behind the counter! Absolutely shocking scenes. Actually it’s embarrassing.

Looks like they havve a cross company policy to p*** off thir customers, mine is with the Wellington branch. For the secon time, my subscription was approved by my GP and sent to hoots the same day. They are actually attached to the surgery! Come Friday (let's be generous and give them (THREE DAYS)) still not fulfilled and it contained blood thinning pills for my stroke. They are beyond useless and actually putting lives at risk. Fortunately the surgery is closing so they will also go - thank god!
