Joe's Blooms Reviews

As a planning consultancy, we have used Joe's Blooms on a number of occasions on a variety of projects requiring BNG. They are helpful, super responsive and keen to solve problems if they come up. They help take the stress out of BNG. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This is the second time I have taken the opportunity of utilising the professional services of Joe's Blooms for BNG's and on both occassions Oliver and Shelley have come up thrumps in providing tech savvy presentable solutions for presentation within Local Authority planning application submiisions. Highly recommended for their skillful knowledge and friendly service.

At Carter-Smith Planning Consultants, we rely on accurate, efficient, and professional Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) support — and Joe’s Bloom has become an invaluable partner in enabling us to deliver high-quality BNG assessments for small sites.

Joe’s Bloom provides a streamlined and incredibly user-friendly service that allows us to produce small-site BNG metrics quickly, confidently, and in full compliance with current guidance. Their expertise, attention to detail, and consistency in producing clear, reliable outputs make them stand out in a complex and fast-moving area of planning.

Their support has significantly improved our workflow, reducing turnaround times and strengthening the robustness of our submissions. The communication is excellent, the service is responsive, and the quality of the information provided is exceptional.

For any planning consultant or developer needing accurate, dependable BNG calculations for small sites, Joe’s Bloom is a service we recommend without hesitation.

I hadn't previously used the Services of Joe's Blooms for the preparation of a BNG Assessment Report
(now required in connection with a Full Planning submission) and I found the Online process very comprehensive. However, following some difficulty I was closely assisted by Oliver Lewis who was extremely helpful in completing the Online process for me.

This was the first time I had used Joe Blooms and I have to say they were extremely helpful and patient. BNG has become a complex element of the planning system and Oliver went through the whole process when I ran into difficulties. Excellent customer services and would highly recommend them

BNG was the one part of the planning application of which I knew nothing about. I started doing my research and it became apparent that the subject is unnecessarily complex and I would need help. I made contact with Joe's Blooms, Oliver called me and ran through my options. After I completed the basics of the calculations I contacted Oliver again and he took me, painlessly, through the rest of it, achieving the gain that was required. A complex process made simple. Thanks

The level of service provided by Joe Blooms has become a very rare thing. I had literally no idea what I was doing, you pay a fee for the service but boy do you get a lot of value add. Any question I raised was responded to almost immediately, when it got complicated they actually phoned me to talk me through it, the actual website itself is good but the recommendation comes from the service you get around it. Exceptional

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Review**

Joe’s Blooms Ecological Services really saved me! With all the new planning requirements, it’s incredibly confusing for someone submitting a planning application for the first time. I’m so glad I found **Joe’s Blooms**, and especially **Oliver** — he is exceptionally professional, fully understands the relevant policies and regulations, and produced a highly compliant, well-structured report that made a huge difference to my application.

Oliver is honest, trustworthy, and genuinely dedicated to helping his clients. I’m truly grateful for his support and would **highly recommend Joe’s Blooms** to anyone needing ecological or planning assistance!

Excellent service, on hand throughout the whole process and very knowledgeable. BNG is a complex subject but Oliver and Richard make the process much simpler. will definitely be using there services again.

Great service. Efficient and easy to engage with the team at Joe's Bloom for all BNG needs to support planning applications.

I started diving into the world of BNG requirements when my local council adopted it into their policies. I do not profess to be any kind of planning consultant but am happy to fill out forms for these kinds of jobs. When my applications started getting kicked back for biodiversity i didnt know where to start. i made calls to ecologists who wanted mega money or weren't interested at all. I finally fell upon Joe's Blooms and I am so glad i did! Richard & Oliver have been so helpful with my first application its taken the stress right out of the process. It gives you a step by step easy to follow proceedure to give you all the documents required.

Fantastic service from the company, great communication, received all the information same day, highly recommend this company.

Really great platform which took the sting (financial, for my client, and time wise) out of the BNG calculation. Totally intuitive and didn't take long to find my way around, particularly as it explains itself fully at every step. Also Oliver and the team were on hand to answer my questions, so felt very supported. Excellent, shall use again and will recommend!

I've tried the exemption checker service and I am very happy with the result and the help I've got from Oliver Lewis. I would highly recommend the service of the Joe's Blooms. Many thanks.

Joe's Bloom has been a great tool to use for individuals like myself needing to complete a BNG form for the first time. The step by step guide is so easy to use to navigate around the website and each step explains what each question is asking with prompts along the way. But what really made this website different from the rest was when I needed help, Oliver Lewis, Founder of Joe's Blooms, was straight on Zoom to help me answer some difficult questions from the planning officer. I recommend this website to anyone seeking to complete a BNG report.

If you found Joe's Blooms I assume that you, like me, were feeling rather overwhelmed by BNG and all the rules around it.. and were probably also panicking that it was going to cost thousands.. Well I'm now hoping that this tool has saved me some stress and ideally a few pennies! I'm so glad I booked a phonecall to discuss as Oliver basically held my hand the whole way through it and was available via email, phonecall and Whatsapp to advise, always responding quickly. Once I got all of the information in I couldn't believe how quickly the documents were generated. The tool is so easy to use (completely idiot proof) but really it was Oliver's help and advice (most of which was before I'd even signed up!) that made the process exceptional, he went above and beyond, even helping me with some wording to the LPA as my application isn't completely straightforward. 10/10 would recommend!

Outstanding support as well. The guys were on hand regularly to help, the guides on the site are just about idiot proof, and the end product is exactly what you need for planning applications

I had an issue with the local council about a BNG. Spoke to Oliver and Richard. They helped redraw and add all necessary requirements. They went over and above to ensure my BNG requirements were correct. Thanks Guys

Approaching the BNG part of a planning application on the planning portal for the first seems pretty daunting. The support from Oliver was absolutely first class including emails, 'phone calls and a zoom meeting. He was so helpful and a pleasure to work with.

I’ve just completed my first ever planning application incl biodiversity survey. I have to say the guys at Joe’s Blooms have been first class. Submitting a planning application is a very daunting task when you have zero experience but these guys particularly Richard and Oliver have been brilliant answering all my questions very promptly and putting my mind at ease. Thanks guys.
