My wife and I have been coming here for about two years, and it’s always a pleasure. The owner is friendly and welcoming, and the fish and chips have been consistently good, with generous portions at very reasonable prices. This chippy is up there with the best in Dundee.

At a time when everything seems to cost more, it’s lovely to find somewhere that still offers such good value without compromising on quality. A great wee chippy that we’re always happy to recommend!

I started using Joe’s Fish Bar about a year ago after my usual chippy became far too expensive, and I honestly haven’t looked back since. I save around £8 on every visit, and the quality has never felt compromised, if anything, it’s been a pleasant surprise.

The owner is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, the sort of person who makes you feel valued the moment you walk in. It’s clear he takes real pride in what he does. What also sets Joe’s apart is how much effort goes into the business beyond the counter, the website is constantly being updated with new products, showing real thought, care, and a forward-thinking approach.

Joe’s Fish Bar is so much more than just a chippy. It’s great value, consistently good food, and run by someone who genuinely cares about his customers. Highly recommended.
