Never do any business with Mosaic loans with solar financing,They are they are dishonest like Attyx LLc solar and roof installation who also keep changing their company names and are under many investigations and tones of court cases where clients are suing. I went on line to pay an additional 100.00 on my account with Mosaic solar loan and I already had paid them my monthly fee two days before,they took an additional 275.00 with out my consent.I have never been late with any of my payments. I call them ,they were not give me my money back and I have three young children to support so that created a financial heart ship since I am on disability and the only bread winner to my family. Mosaic daily interest on their solar loans are higher than most IRS interest rates, If you are a senior citizen by the time the loan is finalized you will probably be well over a hundred years old. When You called into Mosaic they always state there is no manager or higher up to speak to. Don't be like me do your research on both of these dishonest and criminal companies.Mosaic and Attyx keep changing their names and continues do harm to honest customers. Please do your research on both of these criminal companies. Watch out for their name changes, but same criminal intent to defraud customers,especially senior citizens. Protect yourselves at all cost.

Stay away from them....Worst experience in an attempt to get a hold of them and execute a cancellation order from a vendor. It is just crazy!!

One of the Worst Experiences – Avoid Mosaic at All Costs

I was in escrow to sell my home, and because of Mosaic, the sale completely fell through. No matter what the potential buyer did submitting documents for husband and wife ran credits (they were approved for $700k home loan but not for a $65k solar loan), following up repeatedly Mosaic refused to approve the solar loan. Their communication was terrible, their process was slow and unclear, and their customer service was completely unhelpful.

Their failure to act in a timely or reasonable manner caused me to lose a qualified buyer and ultimately my home sale. This company directly caused the collapse of my escrow and a huge amount of stress and financial loss.

If you're buying or selling a home with solar involved, do everything you can to avoid Mosaic. Their inefficiency and poor handling of the loan process made what should have been a straightforward transaction a nightmare.

We’re warning both homeowners and solar companies: Do not use Mosaic as a loan provider for solar financing.

Here’s what happened:

My home had a Mosaic solar loan. When I went to sell it, the buyer agreed in the contract to assume the loan — exactly how Mosaic said the process works.

But after Mosaic filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 6, 2025, they sent a blanket notice refusing to process any loan transfers, even for active escrow deals. No buyer outreach. No credit app. No exceptions.

We were forced to raise the sale price by $10,000 and cover over $6,700 out of pocket just to close — solely because Mosaic would not honor the process they created.

They promised “operations would continue without disruption.” That was false.

🛑 HOMEOWNERS:
If you take out a Mosaic solar loan, understand:

You may not be able to sell your home without paying it off, even if the buyer agrees to assume it.

Mosaic may abandon loan servicing obligations mid-contract and leave you holding the bag.

Their promises are not worth the risk during bankruptcy proceedings.

If you partner with Mosaic for solar financing:

Your customers may end up with unmarketable homes they can’t sell unless they pay off a loan they were told was transferable.

You could be exposing your clients to financial and legal harm down the road, which could reflect poorly on your brand.

🚨 This company is not trustworthy, and they’ve put their borrowers in impossible positions while hiding behind bankruptcy protection.

This is not a one-off case. If you’re a seller, installer, or buyer — steer clear of Mosaic Solar Financing.

They were fully paid off for this loan, and they have continued charging us. When I called customer service, first had to navigate their convoluted voicemail menu, and finally got a rep who was not helpful.

Souffrant d’une dépression associée à une anxiété généralisée liées à un traumatisme , j’ai suivi une psychothérapie avec une psychologue qui m’a fait bien progresser ainsi que quelques séances d’EMDR puis on m’a conseillé de suivre la thérapie Mosaic récemment mise en place qui est une forme d’EMDR avec mouvements alternatifs qui pour les promoteurs de cette méthode évite la douleur psychique liée à la reviviscence du traumatisme . Je me suis donc dirigée chez une psychologue ayant suivi cette formation , celle ci m’a posé toutes sortes de questions ayant trait à mon problème sans aucune interprétation puis au bout d’un moment m’a présenté des écouteurs et m’a envoyé 2 séries de note de piano dans les oreilles … puis voilà .. il n’y a eu aucun résultat positif ni pendant ni après et j’écris cet avis car lorsqu’on se réfère aux autres avis tout parait idyllique … même après une seule séance !

This is a garbage scam of a company. I hope this company goes bankrupt so there shady practices will be halted. i have a project cancelled since December of 2023 yet I am unable to have the lien removed from my house and credit report. I speak to Mosaic and get told that the other company Freedom Forever must send confirmation that it was cancelled. After speaking to Mosaic in April I am told that Freedom Forever has rejected my cancellation yet it was approved back in December and I have received confirmation that it was cancelled. I am getting a run around from both trash companies that need to go bankrupt. With any luck the government will not bail them out and send them to the streets where they belong. Garbage companies Mosaic and Freedom Forever. Avoid if at all possible.

I'm a new customer, this company was chosen for me by a solar installer as a packaged HELOC.
My single biggest complaint so far, aside from what I regard as questionable loan practices is their payment processing track record.
They are by a huge margin the slowest processors of payments of anyone I have dealt with in years. Considering Mosaic is owned by Paypal (I looked it up), I can't fathom why it would take them as much as almost a month to process a physical payment that arrives by mail direct from my bank. If I go through their portal to pay online, it still may take a week or so for them to process it.
Regarding loan practices:
If I ask by phone (I did, twice!) they won't tell me what I need to pay as a minimum in order to avoid fee's or interest penalties. The amount they tell me is due doesn't even cover all the fee's and interest that get added monthly or yearly.

If I had other options i'd fire this company fast! I'm stuck with them until the amount is paid or i sell my house. The latter is most likely sadly!
Don't do business with this company is my final bit of feedback.

They didn't tell me one very important detail. The loan changes after a year and now all of a sudden my monthly payment has increased by 32.5%. I auto pay the bill each month and just received a notice that I'm not meeting my "balance target" which is crazy since I pay the bill they send. It's not like I can just pick an amount to pay. I'm paying the bill. Every month! On time! If I want to meet the target to keep my bill as is, I have to pay $16,000 by Feb. ?? Whatever this is, it was buried in the fine print. Not a fan of this type of hidden surprise. Very predatory.
