Kew Gardens Architectural Photography Experience
I booked a Kew Gardens Architecture photography day with John. I was lucky that it ended it up as a 1-1 session. Over the day John and I took a lot of photos of the beautiful architecture and landscape of Kew Gardens. I learned a lot on composition, how to think about the building being photographed and what it says to me and what I want to say about it, different angles, light and about placing the building in the environment it exists in to provide more context. I learned a lot, made some good images and walked a lot. His relaxed conversational style of teaching, comparing images in real time was just right for me. I would recommend John to anyone who wants to learn the elements of architectural photography and about Kew Gardens' architectural secrets - John is a mine of information on both.
