⭐ 1 Star – Serious concerns about vehicle condition and unresolved complaint

My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing, and I would urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from them to exercise caution.

I purchased a Mini Cooper from JSI Motors group LTD on 4 March 2026. Following the purchase, only a few months later the vehicle failed its MOT and was found to have significant engine issues. I was also informed that the vehicle was emitting carbon monoxide at twice the normal permitted level, which raised serious concerns about its condition.

These are not the issues anyone expects to be dealing with shortly after purchasing a vehicle. Buying a car is a significant financial commitment, and customers should be able to have confidence in the vehicle they are purchasing.

I have attempted to resolve this matter, but unfortunately I have been left having to pursue the issue formally in an effort to recover my money. The stress, inconvenience and time involved in trying to resolve this situation have been extremely frustrating.

I would have much preferred to reach a satisfactory resolution directly with the company. However, given my experience, I feel it is important to share what has happened so that other potential buyers can make an informed decision before committing to a purchase.

Based on my personal experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from this company.

I bought a car from Ian in June 2026 for my son who had just passed his test. Within 2 days of collecting a major fault occurred. I contacted Ian who said he would sort it. Since that conversation I have been unable to get hold of him and I am left with a car that is not road worthy.

Ian was brilliant, let me take the car to my own mechanic to get checked over - was out for about 90 mins! Nowhere else would let you do that without a confirmed sale!
Brilliant service, highly recommended!

Absolute pleasure dealing with Ian- very friendly, not pushy, arrived on the Thursday to book a test drive- Fast forward to Saturday morning driving away. Would recommend over and over again.

I was really nervous about buying my first car, but the team at JSI Motor Group made it so easy. I dealt with Sean, who was incredibly patient and didn't mind me asking a million questions. There was absolutely no "hard sell" or pressure to sign anything. The car was spotless when I picked it up and came with a fresh MOT. If you’re looking for a dealer that actually treats you like a human being rather than just a commission, go here!

From seeing the car advertised online I was met with helpful advice and welcoming to come and view. No pushiness. I purchased the car at a great price, the day after there was a fault with the car. I contacted the team at 8pm on the Friday night and by 8.40pm they had arranged to come and collect it on the Monday. The car was collected prompt on the Monday morning and there was communication throughout. The car was then delivered back to my home address after a couple of days with the recommended jobs having been completed and I recieved the invoice. Very happy with my experience and my car 🚗

I visited JSI motors on Sunday this weekend with the hopes of buying a new car, although I arranged to come before and couldn’t make it due to an emergency they still responders immediately and got an appointment for the same day. Sean dealt with me , my wife & my two kids great. He was patient and allowed me to check the car all over & make sure I was 100% happy with it! Overall had a great experience & I recommend 😊

All I can say .. is the experience was unmatched.

Visited a few other places prior to this one and from the moment we arrived noticing but professionalism.

Was greeted by a gentleman called Ian, big smile great personality and top salesman as any questions we had were instantly answered without hesitation.

Went there to just view cars for future preference and ended up leaving with an amazing 3k car BARGAIN!!! IF ANYTHING.

Nothing but great words for these lot!
