Great photos and personal interaction to make everyone feel comfortable

Julian has been doing our yearly Christmas photos now for 8 years! Julian and Sue are so welcoming and friendly and each year we love our photos. He even puts up with our crazy chaotic dog and despite the saying don't work with dogs or children... Julian is great at both!!

I have had a few photo shoots by Julian Porter Photography. Jules and Sue are lovely people, very professional, but also really friendly. They listen to what you want and give the benefit of years' of experience by offering professional advice if necessary.
I have always been happy with the results and have recommended them to people many times. I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars and would give more if I could.

We were extremely happy with the service we received. We wanted to update our family portrait so needed a photographer who would make our teenage/young adults feel comfortable. The photo shoot experience was just that - warm, very welcoming and relaxed but also professional. We had huge choice of photographs to choose from and we are delighted with our family photo.

I have had 2x cake smash photoshoots and a family photoshoot with Julian and Sue. They were so welcoming and amazing with the little ones. Great props and stunning photos. Would highly recommend and definitely use again in the future 😊

We're so happy with our fabulous photos from the celebration day of our Civil Partnership. Jules & Sue were lovely and we definitely recommend them for any event where photos become keepsakes of beautiful memories. Jules was particularly good with 2 little kids and helping them to feel comfortable enough to smile for photos. He even got the mildest of glimmers from 2 teenagers!! I found it super easy communicating with them and replies were always quick. The link to all photos was sent to us in excellent time. Great, as we were eager to re-live the moments.

Sue and Jules were incredibly welcoming and also really funny. We had some lovely conversations while we were there.
My husband and I aren’t ones for photoshoots - we find things like that extremely akward normally but we wanted some pictures with our newborn. Sue and Jules made the whole experience so smooth and easy and they had some really great ideas for photos too. They’ve really helped us capture some precious moments of our tiny premie baby that, with their help, we will never forget.
We will definitely come back for any future shoots we decide to do!

Julian and Sue were so welcoming at their home based studio and made me and my family feel so relaxed, it was a really enjoyable experience. We booked in for baby photoshoot despite myself and partner not liking our photos being taken and we are chuffed with the results. It was so hard to pick a favourite photo. All of the photos are gorgeous and far better than anything we could take and exceeded our expectations with the family ones. Thank you so much. We will definitely be back in the future.

We have used Julian on a number of occasions to undertake end of project photography for us. He goes above and beyond in terms of travel and provides an excellent service, with photos being back with us usually within a day. He captures what we require perfectly and will continue to use him for future projects. Julian is highly professional and I would recommend him to anyone who requires Commercial Photography.
