Justwood Reviews

I am sat here writing this review while looking at my lovely oak floor!
I can highly recommend Justwood who replaced old carpet from my lounge/diner with oak flooring. This was done with the minimum of fuss even though the guys had to work round the furniture.
Felt confident from my first meeting with Alastair who advised me on choices & answered any queries. Very pleased with the result.

Just Wood have been a good company to deal with, very responsive and very clear about their products and what they could do for us. They charge competitive prices and their fitters were very good. We're very pleased with the end result and so glad that we were able to find this company

Alastair and his team have been amazing from the very first meeting. Their knowledge of products suitable for our loft conversion was invaluable. The guys fitting the floor were polite, considerate, tidy and did an amazing job. The floor looks fantastic, very pleased and would definitely recommend them in the future

Excellent Product & Service
Justwood removed our existing flooring and installed wood flooring to our dining room and lounge. The guys were very skilled, friendly and tidy. Would highly recommend this company.

Our whole experience with Just Wood was excellent from the quote with Julian to the completion of the work by Russell. We had the gaps in the floorboards filled plus sanding and varnishing. Russell worked hard, was polite and respected our home, it was a pleasure to have him doing the work. He also cleared up well at the end, our room was left clean and tidy. We are very pleased with the floor, the finish is lovely and I would most definitely recommend Just Wood.

Can't recommend this company highly enough. They did our whole ground floor, which looks beautiful and has made a tremendous difference to the house. Gary and his team were excellent, they project managed the entire process and were very easy to work with. Very organized and tidy, always here when they said they would be and worked to a very high standard.

So pleased I hired Justwood to put new Oak wooden flooring in my Living/dining room. They arrived when they said they would, ripped out the old cream carpet and installed new oak wooden flooring in 1 day. Gary and Harry were polite, kept me informed throughout and tidied up brilliantly at the end of the job. I'm thrilled with the results, so thanks to Alastair and his team.

Excellent in all regards.

Repaired and refurbished the parquet floor in our lounge. Workmen were punctual, friendly, tidy and cleared up. Alastair kept us fully up to date and the floor looks beautiful. Would thoroughly recommend Just Wood.

Alastair and his team recently completed a superb job of laying floorboards through our Arts & Crafts house. The boards were treated so as to look authentic against the features of our house. They are wonderfully smooth and have a lovely subtle curve to the wood. We couldn’t be happier with the transformation that our new floor has made to our home. Alastair is very professional and ensured his team cleaned up at the end of every day, also using a vacuum during sanding which helped to keep the dust under control. I would not hesitate to recommend Justwood Flooring.

Gary and his son Harrison both carried first class work and we highly recommend them.
We had our conservatory floor sanded and resealed. It was over twenty years ago when Just Wood first installed the floor. Thank you Harrison for a super sanding job. We also had an engineered wood floor installed in the hall on this occasion by Gary (Harry’s very skilled Dad). Thank you Gary. We are thrilled with the results.
Gary and Harry both wore earphones to play their music so that was an unexpected bonus from the norm!

Alistair came to see the job in September 2020. Due to Covid we decided to get the job done in April 2021. Daniel arrived promptly and his reassuring presence and skill gave us the confidence to leave the house for a few days to allow him to do his thing. Arriving back a few days later was like coming into a sparkling, new home . The floor looks absolutely lovely and has transformed our home just as Alistair said it would, Simply brilliant, professional service that does exactly as it says on the tin Thank you

Excellent job, very neat, very efficient. Friendly fitter.

Over a number of years Just Wood Flooring have, at various times, installed flooring in our conservatory and dining room, in two bedrooms, on the landing and stairs and, most recently (February, 2021), in the hall and living room. We have been delighted with the results. They are professional and courteous and we have always been impressed by how neat and tidy they leave things. We recommend Just Wood Flooring without hesitation.
