Utter shite

Ordered a luxury triple wardrobe
Half of the order arrived after 10 days. Chipped and scratched. They didn't even tell us half of it was missing

Fast forward to another 10 days and the rest of the wardrobe arrived. In bits. Scratched and chipped.

Just read the reviews. This company is absolutely bottom of the barrel shite. Go elsewhere. You'd have better luck at the tip

First time purchase

First time purchase. I ordered garden furniture directly from the Stockport store, I was advised of the expected delivery. Received email and SMS when item had arrived and ready to collect. It was arrived earlier which was bonus.

Collection process was good, no issues.

The staff were helpful and friendly.

(I was given inaccurate information about promotion and availability, only found out after I ordered when I checked online, but I has ordered and not missed the offer, because I ordered that day),

Worst shopping experience I’ve had to endure… Stay away

Generally don’t leave reviews, however created an account just to write this.

Needed to contact JYSK UK customer service regarding an issue with an order (through no fault of my own), and had the unpleasant experience of having to speak with a male customer service employee who was belittling and condescending. The employee had a terrible attitude, and could not care less about de-escalating the situation (was sarcastic and dismissive). Hope the company reviews their CS process, although I highly doubt it. This has completely put me off purchasing from JYSK again, and I recommend to anyone thinking about buying from them to avoid (unless you enjoy having to chase the company for updates, and to be disrespected). I would make an official complaint but I did not catch the employee’s name, and honestly, I don’t want to have any further interaction with JYSK anymore.

PS: I can’t review the item in question either as it’s still not arrived after weeks.

Absolutely appalling company to deal…

Absolutely appalling company to deal with DO NOT USE this company.
Three orders with them one sent to wrong address, customer service offer £15 gift card, second notice delivered missing.
Two days of phone calls, refused to speak to a complaint department, informed Evri haven't delivered, they promised on previous call they had contacted Evri, and hour on the phone with a very unsympathetic advisor to absolutely no solution, I just have to wait five days for Evri to deliver.
I told customer service I had heard nothing back from Evri, customer service then parrot the same answer.
I'm waiting for my third and last thing I will ever use from the clueless company.
To top all this off they charge £29 for a large delivery, don't use this company IKEA deliver and genuinely help this lot couldn't care less AVOID.

I went into this places derby shop on…

I went into this places derby shop on Thursday, about 5ish, my sister has always raved about it, but since we moved away from Derby I havnt had the chance to visit, since we was visiting our mother we figured let’s go. Walking around I was absolutely shocked, the only way I can describe the entire shop was like a kids bedroom that’s not been tired for years, stuff was everywhere, dirt all over the floors, and pretty much impossible to navigate if you had a pram or wheelchair. To add to the absolute chaos of the shop itself, we were served by two people, a man and woman, the man was running around looking busy but not seeming to do anything, when I asked for help he looked right at me, and walked in the other direction. The woman, she helped but other then that didn’t seem happy or interested. When we walked out we went to Starbucks, my sister actually apologised to me over how bad it was, she said that when she used to go in regularly before she moved about a year and a half if not more ago it was lovely, MY SISTER apologised to me for a shop that she held highly looking so poor, when it’s not her fault it’s the management of the shops fault. Hopefully the manager sees this and fixes it, cuz I’m surprised it’s still in business

Damaged wardrobe and sideboard

Ordered a wardrobe and sideboard and all 7 boxes arrived damaged. Started to unpack the first 2 boxes so see if it was just the boxes but all panels were damaged so didn’t bother with the other 5. Rang customer service who have put a collection request to the courier company. Having read the reviews I requested a refund and will try ikea. Just wished I’d checked the reviews on here before ordering.

Do not use Jysk

Do not use this company... absolutely shocking service... ordered a mattress that was in stock and ready for delivery to a store, 2 weeks later nothing not a single message, so today I contacted customer service to be told it's not in stock at all... they have 2 warehouses... Dublin and Denmark... its in stock in Dublin but store deliveries are from Denmark and it's not in stock and once it's in stock it will take over a week to arrive... shocking will never ever use again... Beware... money gone out of my account to there's so they don't give a hoot!!!

Absolutely diabolical

Absolutely diabolical. Ordered a chair on 30.03.2026, delivery expected between 5-7 working days. 10 days later, still no sign of the parcel. I contacted evri who said it has been returned to sender as the packaging didn’t align with their policies and I was to contact JYSK myself l. I phoned them and a new chair was immediately sent out.
The “chair” was delivered yesterday. Except it was actually 2 black folding chairs NOT the beige armchair I’d ordered.
Reported to JYSK who asked whether I’d like another replacement or a refund. I requested a refund however this cannot be processed until the incorrect chairs have been collected.

I now start work tomorrow in my new salon with nowhere for clients to sit!

Derby Store

I’ve used the Derby store a lot to kit out my HMOs. I find that the store manager (Josh I think his name is) is one of the most rudest people I have spoken to. All he does when you ask him questions is Huff and Puff and look not interested. How this man is a store manager I will never know.
However I do get good customer service on Wednesdays from the store assistant manager (Kelsey I think) and a male worker (Henry I think). So I only go into store now on Wednesdays. These two people are amazing and do the store and JYSK proud. These should be the people running the store. Especially how busy they are and rush around and always seem understaffed. I cannot thank these two amazing staff enough for all the service I get from you, especially after today’s visit when it was just two of them and the queue was really big but they still didn’t stress and provided the best service as always. After today I really think the store is understaffed.

Please look at the manager that runs the shop before they lose all the good staff members and the store closes because of an inept manager. Which I will say again, should never be running a store with his attitude.

I bought a mattress from Jysk because…

I bought a mattress from Jysk because my mom had bought one and highly recommended it. She was right — the mattress is excellent, really good quality, super comfortable, and feels way more premium than the price suggests. Jysk is actually a Danish brand, so it has that solid Scandinavian quality.
When arranging delivery, they asked me when I would be at home, which I appreciated. However, they later changed the delivery date without notifying me. That was quite inconvenient because I work full-time and suddenly started receiving calls from the delivery driver while I was at work. It makes you wonder — what’s the point of asking when I’ll be home if they’re just going to change the date anyway?
Overall, I’m very happy with the mattress itself and would recommend Jysk for the product quality. Just be prepared that delivery scheduling and communication could be improved.

Shambolic service

Shambolic delivery service. I've had 3 failed deliveries and 3 items have all arrived separately. One still hasn't arrived 4 weeks after the original order. Jysk take forever to respond to complaints and emails and no-one seems to have a clue what's happening. They quote 'warehouse issues' repeatedly. Useless company. Won't use again,

Ordered a dining table

Ordered a dining table, the legs arrived and the top did not, this was over 3 weeks ago and still no table top.

Customer service a terrible 2 broke promises of dispatch dates, told I would be called back and never was, no refund.

Terrible experience and extremely rude customer service, avoid!

UPDATE: Was told they would call me back which never happened. When I called again I got hold of possibly the rudest customer service person I have ever spoken to. Was told I’d have to go “back in line” to wait for my furniture, even though they cancelled my order in the first place. This meant I’d have to wait 2 (!) months for what should have been a 5-10 day delivery service without so much as an apology. Only compensation offered was free delivery. Absolutely terrible experience, would avoid this company at ALL costs.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience.

After placing my full furniture order well over a week ago, everything appeared to be in place and I had every reason to believe the order was progressing as expected. However, today I was informed that my entire order has effectively been cancelled and delayed due to an error in the company’s system.

I have now been told that it will not even be sent out for delivery until a further three weeks from the original order date, which is completely unacceptable given that these items include essential furniture for my house move.

This delay has caused significant stress and disruption, as the order includes key items such as my bed, dining chairs, and other necessary furniture that I was relying on for moving into my new home.

I contacted customer service immediately and was advised that they would try to help me find a solution. However, so far I have not received any meaningful update or resolution, and the communication has been minimal.

I also specifically requested that any items currently in stock be sent out as a partial delivery to help ease the situation, but there has been little indication that the company is willing to assist with this either.

At this stage, I would strongly advise others to be cautious, particularly if ordering essential items for a time-sensitive move.

I sincerely hope the company will take this complaint seriously and work quickly to resolve the issue. I will update this review if a satisfactory solution is provided

Excellent Customer Service

Have visited your Cannock Store on numerous occasions, I would like to say that your Manager Liz is a valuable asset to your organisation she has helped us on 2 specific occasions helped when we had an issue with our garden furniture stayed in contact rang when she said she would ,sorted out everything with a happy smiling face too, she could not do enough for us . Credit where credit is due everyone is always quick to moan if there is an issue but never praise people ..
A great shopping experience in her store & will definitely be back. Huge thanks to all your efforts Liz ..

Horrendous experience

Horrendous experience. Reserved a wardrobe, received a text to say it's ready to collect, drove 40 mins to the store and it had been given to someone else! They arranged for one to be delivered to me the following week, which arrived completely damaged, box ripped wide open and a huge chip on the brand new wardrobe door. The staff member at the store was extremeley rude on the phone when complaining, and customer services have been most unhelpful as they can't seem to issue a refund or collection themselves. What's the point? I'm now £350 out of pocket, still no wardrobe and a damaged wardrobe sat in my hallway. Avoid at all costs, will never be shopping there again.

I ordered a from this brand the price…

I ordered a from this brand the price point was attractive but I’ve still no received the mirror I was giving multiple delivery times and rescheduled my week to be home for these deliveries which have not arrived then I got an email to say that there was an attempted delivery but there was no post put in the door to confirm that it was an attempted delivery.

I was also home at the time of this delivery. I’ve gotten in touch to a customer service and I haven’t heard anything poor experience so far wouldn’t recommend this brand based on my experience.

I would’ve preferred to spend more money on the mirror and had accurate deliveries with another brand and retailer.
