I went to Karavel to find insoles in order to improve my limp. I went to the "specialist" who took 5 pairs of shoes (that I bought at Karavel) and he placed insoles into 5 left shoes of those. Come to find out that he put the "lifts" in the wrong shoe!!! My right shoe is the one that needed the lifts, according to my podiatrist. I went into the store and a very kind saleswoman went to the manager (?) who said that he would "correct the issue himself". When I called and spoke to the manager, he said, "That is up to RJ, if he wants to correct the error or not". Well, RJ refused and I am now an owner of 5 pairs of shoes that I am unable to wear and will need to take to the Shoe Hospital and PAY to have their error corrected. I will never ever shop at Karavel nor buy another (even) sock from them. Am done. What happened to "acknowledge" errors and take responsibility for them? I spent well over $400 for the 5 pairs of shoes and am now stuck. Take good heed. "The customer ain't always right, are we?" Carolyn P

my wife bought sneakers online from karavel. it appeared the shoes were worn. just be aware of this case when buying from this shop online

I live in CA and ordered shoes to be picked up while on a trip to Austin, TX so I could actually walk into a brick and morter shoes store and could try on other pairs too! I wear orthotics, walk a lot, and want to be stylish so buying shoes is not easy. Where have all the shoe shops gone? I was very happy with the high level service I received at Karavel and I really appreciate being fitted by professionals. We need more 3D shoes stores!

I placed an order. It was accepted. Several days went by and then I receive a refund. I got an email later saying they item was out of stock. This was the first order I placed. I was excited about the order but several days later find out it is not in stock. No information given on when it would be in stock; no alternates recommended; no discount on my next item for inconvenience. Nothing. Not happy with the customer service.

Found the last pair of hoka shoes in a specific color that my wife wanted. Full price which i am ok with however it looks as though the shoes have been worn. Not much but definitely not new. This may be my fault as i ordered them without knowing anything about your site.
