Karls Couch Cleaning Sydney Reviews 

This review is for the Melbourne office.
Nothing, absolutely nothing positive to say about my experience which was traumatic. The service was for the dry cleaning of a 2.2m sofa with 6 cusions.
The woman arrived, did not introduce herself. She immediately said that the price quoted should be more than double. Demanded cash in advance, reduced the price so that she would not have to pay GST! She asked where the laundry was as she had to use the sink. Next thing I know she is using the machine machine to wash the cushion covers - which I wanted steam cleaned. Did not wash one of the cover because the filling was loose - which is one the reason I wanted a steam clean service, so now I have 5 clean cushion and 1 dirty one. The house stinks of chemicals which are affecting my lungs. The whole process lasted 30 minutes for which I paid $200. I contacted the company several times over several days and received no response. They are indeed charlatans who do not have any intention of providing a service and are just wanting the money. It was a very upsetting experience

Do mot use this company - they are super dodgy. So unprofessional and very poor work.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This has been the single worst service and customer service I've experienced in my life.

The house was left with water down the walls, puddles on the floor and all through my daughters toys...

The council and chairs were not cleaned to a better standards than before..

The company when I contacted them to re do the job or fir a refund just keep hanging up on me...

I left a negative review on their Facebook page but they blocked me and removed the review..

This company are charlatans...

The skill of the technician that did the cleaning was sub par, they did not vacuum the couch to start, they did not use stream only water and the house had puddling all over the floor, down the walls, all over the blinds...

It's took me 90 mins, 3 times as long as they took to do the job yo clean up there mess.

But to be hung up on mutliple times when explaining the job and requesting it be done again speaks louder of this companies scamming and cowboy approach than the awful job they did..

No one showed up for the scheduled appointment at 10am. I called to check and was told the booking was actually scheduled for 10am-12pm but this wasn’t communicated earlier. They assured me the job would be done by 12pm. By midday no one had arrived, I called again only to be told the cleaner had van issues and could only get to my place around 5pm or I could reschedule for the next day. I sent an email giving feedback but have had no response. Would not recommend.

Avoid these crooks. I had them tell me the cost would be $150, then when they came to do the job they charged $390. Then they did a terrible job, rushed it in 20 minutes, left a dirty water puddle in the carpet in my loungeroom, and the couch was covered in dirt still. Not to mention it appearss they actually damaged the couch.

When I reached out to head office, 4 times, they completed ignored it. All I had asked was that someone come and fix the job, even though they ripped me off with double the cost.

I dare say any reviews that are positive about them here are fake and paid for.

Original booking was rescheduled to another day (due to their van problem), but noone arrived or called on the day/time of the new booking. Left multiple text and voice messages and noone even replied. Very unprofessional.

Booked for 4pm sofa clean and scotchguard no one arrrived
called and was told it was cancelled asked why they didn't call told me not to call them back.

Tell the truth about their offering: ie that they use subcontractors. Stick to the quote. Be available to discuss. Actual CLEAN the sofa as opposed to just wetting it in under 20 mins
